  1. Me too.
  2. Wife got me this for the bday... (I'm a MB fan...)
  3. So what about all my bikes then????????
  4. I see this is at the end of every day's description... "There will be water points on route with enough to eat and drink. a Support vehicle will follow the rides from start to finish. a Link for family and friends to track the riders live will be available each day of the tour. All riders will ride together from start to finish (this is not a race) and please note that the route will not be marked."
  5. Beetle Botox.
  6. So..... my best mate from Canada has fractional ownership place in Pinnacle Point, they came over and invited us (as he should...) Arrived Sat like 02h30, super cool. Went for hike around the beach Sunday, booked our golf spots for Mon 08h30. Sun afternoon I stepped out to the pool, missed a step, a really, really little step (and I was stone cold sober...) and in process of recovering balance snapped right Achilles... tripple fooooock. Was attached Sun eve 22h30, now the frikkin schlepp....
  7. Thanks Mate. Will do.
  8. What did I get for Christmas? I got fat. And this....
  9. Listen. Wait till you have a son at varsity... you can't fill him up, you just manage to get him out of reserve... If I could import a few of those, I might be able to upgrade my bike sooner...
  10. When Top Gun came out in '86, I was stationed at Waterkloof. I remember one of the Mirage pilots telling me they do that then they would be arrested by MP's upon landing and court-martialled... Apparently special permission was needed from SAAF COPS or something to pull that stunt.
  11. Oegh. Nice....
  12. I don't have what you want, but when you get it, I'll take that rigid out of your way...
  13. That is flipping awesome!!!!
  14. Hy is baie stil....
  15. Same here. Only swimming I can do is "versuipslag" - That frantic splashing just before you go under. My wife pops like a cork when she goes into the water, turns on her back and just floats - I float like a brick. I don't go near water where my arms can't be dry whilst standing. Klaar.
  16. Heaven Forge in Belfast is run by Kevin Harvey - both him and his wife, Heather, are ABS Masters. He is a legend in knifemaking... My son and I did same thing as DJR 2 years back with him - real privilege... Rucus Coetzee is in the Eastern Cape - he also offers courses - he was apprentice under Kevin for many years and later on assisted him in courses before he moved to the Eastern Cape. Edit: Oh, I forgot, on their courses you forge your knife from scratch from block of steel - DJR's course is what is called stock removal. (Very nice knives DJ...)

    Who remembers?

Three guys you never messed with, the cook, the storeman and the postman...
  18. Literally just returned home from watching the movie. I have been, and will forever be, a Queen fan...
  19. An absolutely stunning, stunning pic... for me anyway. I have been just sitting looking at it for at least half hour...
  20. Yesterday was really disappointing, to put it mildly. Really seemed as though they were playing with one foot in the airplane home... sommer de mur in... Think the forwards pretty much settled, plenty of reserves in tight five. Just not too sure about firstly Kolisi (and I'm a huge fan) - he's becoming more and more like John Smith, chosen because he's Captain, and not because he's the best in his possie, and secondly the balance of the loosies... Backs is another matter. 9 & 10 pretty much done. Faf with Pampier will do nicely, and Van Zyl as backup will do just fine I think, and last few games Pollard and Jantjes did very well. Think Rassie must get the young Du Preez involved sooner, but he has Willemse as backup. Midfield huge problem. De Ellende is not a shadow of what he was, there is much better. I personally don't like Kriel, but he was better than usual last few games. But what then? I'm not Amm fan - he's just so predictable, Engelbrecht playing heavy conditions in France, so then what. Right back sorted with Nkosi & Chessie (he was the shiner yesterday), but left... Dyanti is awesome on attack, but his in-drifting on defence cost us big-time yesterday, and will do so again, Willie sorted at 15, but Willemse cannot alone cover 10 and 15...
  21. Thanks. Need to test them...
  22. I need some help please. Anyone knows anything about these...? Hitachi HS-x38
  23. That's me. (That's frikkin cruel...)
