Im in 2 minds about this race..wanna do the 40km but have only been riding MTB since Jan..did the 40 Karkloof and 55km Bushmans and really really loved it..but was bored on the 25km Greytown so dont wanna go all the way to Howick and be bored on the 20km.. Suggestions Aicorner?? Should I give the 40 a bash?

I have Sporties but unfortunately my business address I cant use Gmail!..

Did weeks of homework same as you...Mongoose beats hands down with "extra's" in the price range.

I think its the lanolin...she must make sure that they are spinning shorts and that they are fitting tight..if too loose they will chaff!

It would be quite cool if a riding club could organise a "companion" for all first time racers... I had a friend that rode with me my first race and I think if it wasnt for him helping and advising I would have been terrified!

Id certainly ban the use of MP3s during a race but wouldnt go so far as to disqualify the rider... Id actually like to know why a rider would want to race with the distraction of a mp3 player???
