So Vinales gets a 16 second penalty for tyre pressure. the only noteworthy event in the entire season really, some exciting duelling and well he ends up 14th. I was so hoping he would win.
  2. That’s the only thing keeping him in a job.
  3. Ange must fall
  4. Started doing this. People looked at me funny at the station yesterday. 😂
  5. Jeepers, you okes are old hey. scottCM, the memories might still be building. Next round is likely to be PSG and they look polished last night. but, it is the crème de la creme stages. Anything is possible.
  6. Million dollar secret on Netflix. gameshow with a difference. Must say the guys that devise these games are brilliant.
  7. I have started going to gym and doing some weights mainly for upper body. when you say strength work, what exactly are you referring to?
  8. Been riding motorcycles for 45 years now, had one or 2 accidents over the years, primarily adventure riding but did have a serious crash in 1984 which required intensive surgery but I digress. Been riding bikes that have ABS for about 15 years now ( and bikes without ) and while the ABS has activated from time to time over rough roads and the like it’s never saved me from an accident. until last night that is. On the monster which has ridiculously great brakes (brembo) behind a BMW fancy car going all of 30 mph when a van pulls out in front of the BMW, driver slams on brakes and the emergency brake light flashes and I just grab full anchors front and back. By the grace of superior beings and Brembo I stop 20 cm from rear bumper of BMW. So, ABS saved my ass. ABS 1 ice cream man 0. I accept this situation was entirely my doing, just got very relaxed on the bike so a good cheap wake up call. If I was on any of my other bikes i would have hit the BMW. That monster has excellent brakes and light weight stops on a ticky. went onto my function in the glorious sunshine a lot wiser.

  13. Actually is a record. Relegated with the most games still left to play being 7. on the up side, cheaper tickets and hopefully get to see Wrexham at st Mary’s and the racecourse
  14. From the highs of football to the lows… later today spurs will relegate us…which is a record of sorts , while maybe not the absolute worst it must be darn close to Derby’s season of woe. Annus horribilis.
  15. Sera sera what will be will be we’re going to Wem ber ley
  16. Epicentre of world football today is the EBB stadium for the FA trophy semi final vs ye olde foe Woking FC. Kick off @ 12:30 to a full house. Not a spare ticket to be had. Winner goes to Wembley next month. Up the Shots!!
  17. Sometimes London shows off. Today was such a day. London and jozi have relatively similar waterfall in millimetres per annum believe it or not. Looking at weather patterns predicted for the next month or 2, I would not be surprised if we have water restrictions here. it’s quite astounding how water insecure London actually is.
  18. Us poor folks have no chance eh.
  19. If you’re tired of London, you’re tired of life. Or something. IMG_1017.mov

  21. My bill. Total 282 quid for 600 mile service. mechanic charge 97 per hour plus VAT. crazy money for an oil change but lose warranty if I do it myself.
  22. Didn’t watch the game but some Spanish games turn into a farce. Theatrics
  23. Haha… first time I saw it was in the cinema, the old cinema complex at the checker big D shopping centre in kempton park near the airport. I went with my mate and his girlfriend and my now ex wife. My mate and I had a wee bit of thc ourselves on the way to the cinema. which has me thinking ( this is a free for all thread after all) of the cine 400 that was in Hillbrow back in the day. I was a student living in Hillbrow back in the ealry/mid 80s. Place used to become a hot box at times depending on the movie. Damn, those were the days.
