    Maybe do away with the licence thing completely, it’s just a cash grab to keep an old archaic organisation going. And keeps clubs from dying artificially. Not all clubs . The good ones will survive. have 2 tier pricing, those with a licence get a cheaper deal thus incentivising a licence but not compulsory. One year I had to join a club just to get a licence to run one marathon (Soweto) . No licence needed here and the clubs flourish.

    Entered my very first triple digit ultra a few minutes ago. 100km of trail in as long as it takes basically. Realistically I reckon about 18 to 20 hours for my fat ass. My running heritage is not great so going to hurt a bit I suspect.     I hear you. And valid points. but the accuser should not be anonymous in the grand scheme of things. It’s wholly unfair in the day of cancel culture. I also take that the accuser is vulnerable when named and this would put folks off. ( both men and women by the way, it’s not a gender thing. ) Maybe folks need to be a little wiser in how they do things. When Mike Tyson invites you to his hotel room he ain’t thinking of swapping brownie recipes, that’s for sure.

    As the saying goes, you can’t make an omelette without cracking some eggs. And certainly if you are a sensitive soul then working in F1 is not for you. It’s a tough ruthless world where sometimes you follow orders and other times you follow orders. The logistics, time frames , requirements involved don’t allow for much niceties. People get trampled on, it really has to be military like in its precision. But the rewards are many too esp in a successful team. I agree, I think there is an element of politics here. We wait n see but I hope Horner is innocent and I hope he does not resign. He seems like a good guy and his family is important to him. Geri supports him 110 percent by the way.

    I wish they would name the person lodging the complaint. This is patently unfair to Christian in that he gets lambasted without proof or even the name being made public of the complainant. Having worked in F1 I know the teams have to work to military like precision, every step is pre planned and must be adhered to otherwise it breaks things. As principal the buck stops with him and he needs to be a dictator in some cases. It’s the nature of the job and it’s what you sign up for. If guilty then he must be held accountable , but after 20 years of great success this is a diabolical way to treat a person.

    Will be the first bike I own with cruise control, quick shifter and little spot lights. Might need to buy one of those Schuberth helmets that half open now and look the part. Not much in the way of adventure riding here, maybe overkill but hey I will find some adventure some where.

    Unfortunately 2024 is not possible. We doing a tour of Scotland earlier in the summer on motorcycles and our wives won’t allow us to go and play twice in one summer. 😂

    Chains are cool..lil maintenance every now and again. Replace every so often and they pretty much stress free. I wouldn’t discount a bike because of the drive. There are advantages to chains too.

    I reckon the owners of F1 would love Andretti in the fold especially their ability to market to the American folks where the marketing putsch is currently. think it’s the teams that are the problem. They don’t want to share and play nice.

    Them BMW ous are just too damn good at their jobs. And they gave me a superlative deal. Basically wiping out any depreciation first year of ownership. Can’t really go wrong.
