To put it into perspective. All the sides were given about 7000 tickets as an initial allocation which is the lower tier. Aldershot have now sold out that, plus the second tier and now half the top tier so Wembley have given more tickets for the entire block. no one expected this level of demand, and we still have to wait for payday buyers.

PSG showed they were vulnerable against villa. But I still rate them to pip the gunners. but we need an English team in the final…keeps the pubs in business. Good to see the gooners support last night. Not a cheap thing to do. Hats off. and, even more importantly , I got my grubby paws on tickets to the non league finals on 11 May at the mighty Wembley. Going with the Aldershot lot. 4 non league sides in their first ever finals at Wembley, it’s gonna be epic. Aldershot were initially allocated 7000 seats, being the bottom tier of Wembley with the option of going onto tier 2 if the 7000 were sold out. I queued for an hour ( online) to get my tickets. Managed to get for me and my lads in the lower tier. Within 90 minutes Aldershot sold out their 7000 and the tier above it and now have been allocated the upper tier. Quite crazy considering the other sides have sold less than 7000. Non league football is where it’s at these days. Proper non glam hardcore football. So, off to Wembley for a final…never been to a final at Wembley, been to a semi years ago with saints. And bonus, with my 3 boys. Day out in the sun sinking pints, watching footie and kicking some heads in my bovva boots. Ahhh , nostalgia hey.

I have started going to gym and doing some weights mainly for upper body. when you say strength work, what exactly are you referring to?

Been riding motorcycles for 45 years now, had one or 2 accidents over the years, primarily adventure riding but did have a serious crash in 1984 which required intensive surgery but I digress. Been riding bikes that have ABS for about 15 years now ( and bikes without ) and while the ABS has activated from time to time over rough roads and the like it’s never saved me from an accident. until last night that is. On the monster which has ridiculously great brakes (brembo) behind a BMW fancy car going all of 30 mph when a van pulls out in front of the BMW, driver slams on brakes and the emergency brake light flashes and I just grab full anchors front and back. By the grace of superior beings and Brembo I stop 20 cm from rear bumper of BMW. So, ABS saved my ass. ABS 1 ice cream man 0. I accept this situation was entirely my doing, just got very relaxed on the bike so a good cheap wake up call. If I was on any of my other bikes i would have hit the BMW. That monster has excellent brakes and light weight stops on a ticky. went onto my function in the glorious sunshine a lot wiser.
