Facebook tells me it’s exactly 10 years to the day I did my first Ironman down in PE. Feels like yesterday. Was an incredible journey for me and caused me to realise anything is possible. Couch to Ironman in 18 months. I dug so deep that day, still remember hobbling down the back section in the dark by the university feet bleeding from wearing wrong socks. But, I had the tattoo booked in j bay for the Tuesday and no farking way was I not going to finish. 2015 was the 2 x 90 km loop with a fair amount of climb and the wind was mostly against us.
