Sorry to hear. these 950s are awesome machines but do require a lot of maintenance these days. Hopefully it’s the cheaper fix. fuel pumps are known weak points on these so maybe it’s been changed before and the o rings not properly seated or something. Mate of mine had one, whenever we went on safari he always carried a spare fuel pump. Just one of those things. if it’s the base gaskets, how bad is the leak? If it’s sweating just leave it as it is and ride it. I had a duke 690 that sweated a tad on the base gasket…just cleaned it every now and again and rode it as is.

I reached out to one 2 weeks ago. First time ever I have sought assistance cos cowboys don’t cry right. still battle, I ain’t suicidal or anything like that. Just battle to come to terms with it all. Grief is not well understood. My mom was a good mom and a good person. Life screwed sometimes and I just wasn’t always there for her. It haunts me. good luck.
