  1. That’s not a stereotype by the way.
  2. I agree. The big GS is just too big and lardy. They sell like hotcakes here. 99.9 percent never seen a dirt road. The other 0.1 percent only went off road at a laybye or something like that. if you going to go adventure biking which includes off-road get a middleweight. Far better adventure bike. Unless you have a Dakar entrant skillset that is.
  3. Indeed. I have an aeropress Go for the stops. Compact and works well enough. I use it when we go on holiday too. Have a little hikers manual grinder so becomes a little ritual. Last time I went through baviaans years ago we were a few guys. One guy had a great little set up and stopped at a few of the water crossings ,so we could drink in the beauty with a lovely fresh coffee. Nowt better.
  4. Absolutely, he is tainted in the worst possible way. 2 crooks going head to toe. but it is the first of its kind and it’s good to see that finally private enterprise is attempting to hold the government responsible. This could be the start of something , here’s hoping.
  5. Well. What’s taken them so long.
  6. Anthony Gobert passed away. Far too young.
  7. it’s not 73 percent of women, please re read the letter with understanding. like all things in life it can be good or bad and strava is nothing but a tool. If you get so enveloped by it that being a local legend or or or or is important then well, you gone overboard. Simple. and the little line about the mister going for a slower ride with the missus. Interesting insight that… I use strava, but being a middle aged , some say old, fart with about as much athletic ability as a slow slug and a reasonably happy disposition I set all my settings to private and I don’t really care about the public settings as I don’t need that validation. And I paid for a year which was about 4 pounds a month. Can’t buy a latte for that.
  8. Thought West Ham ahead run out of ideas. Ings also looked tired, he needs to come back to us. When West Ham went down to 10 men and were a goal down William hill had them at 25 to 1. I had to of course take that bet. William hill sometimes knows things that I don’t. 😂 well, that’s an interesting result. Tunisia will now have to beat ZA and Mali. And ZA will have to beat Tunisia and Namibia. Going to be interesting. tonight Bristol rovers play Norwich. Mate of mine is a Rovers fan, he will be at the ground. Should be a good game.
  9. West Ham top their Europa group and get dumped by Bristol city in FA cup. Rough sport. Mali rogering bafana bafana.
  10. Interestingly, the bookies have him at Newcastle as the front runner right now followed by a job in Saudi
  11. Interesting thought.
  12. I can see him back at Chelsea.
  13. I miss them hot days in Cape Town. Run along the ocean smelling the ocean and sea weed along moulles point (sp) and have some beer and moules-frites at den anker. damn, hoe lus is ek nou.
  14. 3rd Monday of January is apparently the saddest day of the year. So, with that said…
  15. Probably more applicable to the northern hemisphere. https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/24049060.blue-monday-take-place/ but, for many it’s back to work and all
  16. saddest day of the year apparently.
  17. 2 good games this weekend. Both I happened to watch. werner may have assisted but it was not a great performance. He was pretty much like he was at Chelsea. Spurs were the better side and should have won the game I thought. But it’s the scoreboard that counts.
  18. Entertaining game. Thought spurs deserved a win. Put a small bet on spurs when they went 1 down. think ten hag will be sacked this week.
  19. Newcastle city What an excellent game. Made money on it first by betting on Newcastle when they were down and cashing in when they were up. Then a draw an cashing in and then city to win. crazy game. The Belgian is back which is good for our Euro 2024 aspirations
  20. Nice bike that. Never seen one in the flesh so to speak.

  22. Went for a lil ride around Guildford. Much water has fallen from the sky the last while. This body of water is not normally there. Incredible
  23. My lad who is 15 plays a lot with these base plates and builds all sorts of things. Quite astounding that a 15 year old loves Lego this much. Especially in todays times with video games, to etc. he loves it. Guess it’s downtime and let the imagination run.
  24. Like a led balloon
  25. No no no, just no.
