  1. After a rocky start to the season on the betting front I find myself having had a good month, up 100 quid for the month and up a total of around 140 for the season. Mostly due to betting on Accas. since I engaged with William hill during the 2018 football World Cup I am up 1051 pounds. Beats losing. Life of high rollers hey. and I fully understand now how guys lose their shirts with betting, so easy to get carried away with it all.
  2. No surprise, ten hag gone. 17.5 million pound hand shake.
  3. I watched some of the highlights as the game was not broadcast here. A good showing I thought to only concede 1. But for a bit of poor luck and atrocious playing this season we should have been out of the relegation zone but alas. Martins head is not being called for just yet. But it’s building.
  4. Just an update on the enduro 3 battery life after using it for 2 months. at first it was using 4 to 5 percent per day including on average 45 minutes GPS usage per day. Giving 3 to 4 weeks usage between charges. Last week I loaded the latest firmware and the battery usage has slowed down to between 3 and 4 percent per day including 45 minutes gps usage per day. So a solid 4 weeks usage. this is without using the pulse ox features except the odd health snapshot and very little solar charging to speak of.
  5. Well, that Is a shock. Rumours of infidelity abound. maybe the dietician. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr4l0lz4qvyo
  6. Here in UK half marathons are between 35 and 50 no shirt included. marathons start from about 60 up wards. ultras from about 80. I have entered a 100 km ultra next year which cost 195. So around 4500 zar. No shirt either. 😂
  7. Team that has impressed me this season is Forest, they have done really well under nuno.

  18. Yesterday’s British superbike race 3 at brandshatch. Bridewell was 4 points in the lead of championship. Winner gets 25 runner up gets 20. Thus winner takes all. These 2 were swooping the lead regularly from around lap 10. Possibly the finest championship winning race I have ever watched. I was giggling like a nervous kid. Incredible finale
  19. Great win for farnborough yesterday. 4 1 after going behind early due to defender error. top of the log. But some teams gave a game in hand.

  23. Rumour has it that it will cost United 15 million pounds to sack him. That’s 15 million good reasons to keep him but damn that’s a lot of loot. that said, I do expect him to get his marching orders later today.
  24. Back in February I got struck down with serious plantar fasciitis issues in left foot. For pretty much 6 months I was laid up from running and focussed on cycling. I might have run a total of 10 kms in those 6 months. Mid August I tentatively started running again albeit slow and with a bit of pain. No pain no gain eh. Used all sorts of foot massage devices including a vibrating one, balms, snake oil, voltarol 2.32 %, old wives and witches concoctions, special expensive socks and spent about 20 minutes a day massaging my foot. slowly coming right, getting a bit of running mojo back. Completed 2 half marathons and I cherish those medals. Looking optimistic so feeling good. Missed running and it affected my mental health not being able to run. Not 100 percent, still a bit of pain while running and it increases after I have finished running but it’s getting better. don’t mean to bore you all, but the point being sometimes injuries just need a whole lot of time and preventative measures to overcome. And ultimately my injury was because I was pushing to hard and not resting sufficiently, the body is clever that way and being nigh on 60 does not help.
