Awesome ride today in Bl. We were cruising. PB for me :-)). Did someone crash into one of the water table staff at the last water point?
  4. Results are out. Racedrek fails again. Long turnaround, time 100 and 50km mixed (winner did 60km/h!), at present can't search by group, etc.
  5. Cool ride today. Enjoyed the racing in BL. See you all next week for the Queen of te Eat Rand Summer Classics!
  6. BL 0634. Anyone know what time the leaders of this group finished in last year?

    Fast One

After last year's epic fail, well done to organizers for fixing access problems. 10 out of 10! Fun day's racing :-))
  8. What tubeless set up are you running?
  9. Is this tubeless?
  10. Great article. Thanks.
  11. Thanks. This is what I do on my roadbike. The higher the pressure the less the traction for more technical stuff. This is the idea for tubeless, that you can run the tyres at lower pressures without risk of snakebites. I also find that at max pressure it's a pretty hard ride.
  12. Cool. Thanks.
  13. Thanks, BB. 100kg. Tubed.
  14. Being a roadie, I don't get to ride my MTB much. Doing the 94.7 MTB event on Sunday. What pressure should I run my tyres at?
  15. Guy P snuck home in 89h41! Well done!!! Waiting for epic tale behind this result :-o
  16. It's all done now, much like the participants who are now sleeping the sleep of the righteous ;-) Michelle completed the 1230km in 87h14. Good job!
  17. Congratulations to all the daring South African PBP participants!
  18. Updates on some of the Jozi riders: Denis Braithwaite (7040) last checked in at Loudeac at 1956 last night (23h55 riding time, 449km). Not sure what's going on here. Hopefully, technical issues in updating his time? Nigel Grey reached Brest (618km) at 855 this morning 37h39 riding time Gillian Critcher (7042) and Michelle Gahan (7041) reached Brest (618km) at 1038 today, 38h37 riding time
  19. Erm, do you have the start time and location?
  20. Do you have details of the next ride?
  21. Hi Rude, only got going at 8! My apologies. Should have taken your mobile. Fantastic ride, but pretty chilly! Hope to catch you next time.
  22. Today's figures: ride time: 5:28 (2:30, 1st lap; 3:28 2nd lap!); 113.75km;4897 kCal; 2410m ascent; 20.8 km/h.
