  1. Mud Dee thanks ... what asthma pump did you use. I currently use Symbicort. Asthavent, Pulmicort, Atrovent (nebulisor) and Combivent. Yep in the summer it goes away but I want it gone now.
  2. I am not a true asthma sufferer but in winter get a constant close up of the chest. Just keep on coughing all the time. No phlem or anything chest just closed. Exercise helps a lot and chest stay open for an hour maybe 2 afterwards. Anyone else out there with a simalar problem? What your treatment. smileys/smiley5.gif
  3. U guys that use camelbacks... doesnt your back end up sweating excessively... dont you get hot from this thing on your back... plus the 2kg you have to pickup when standing ? smileys/smiley5.gif
  4. Guys and girls.... take your EFA's ... ie Omega 3,6,9... No **** ... think of them eskimo's... live in the cold... mostly eat them fish? Cyclelab had a talk about EFA's some months back... this stuff works. Worth a try... found it takes about 3-4 weeks to kick in. smileys/smiley17.gif
  5. Nothing less than a Polar 720... Any other make is out. Have heard personally from a dealer saying that most of the other makes he has comebacks. The Polar tends to give you problems only when the battries start going flat. smileys/smiley2.gif Happy hunting.....!
  6. Hou op draf en doen spinning vir 'n ruk om weer jou styl em gemak terug te kry. That would be my advice... spinning restores the memory to your muscles?

    Bike Box

I agree with bike thingy.... get a card board box from cycle shop. Put bits and pieces of sponge inside where neccessary. Good luck smileys/smiley1.gif
  8. Right on bikemax... smileys/smiley32.gif
  9. Have experienced this... just stopped and went home... tried another day when I was fully recovered. Agree with you Bikemax....
  10. DT - You probably race with the licensed vets? to sustain output at 170 - 185 takes some doing. The drop from 170-100 does seem slow. I am 44 with a max of 177 and when fit do intervals at 168-170 . After 6-8 of these my pulse drop from 170-100 in 2-3min. My resting pulse is always approx 42-44 never lower? Keep it up... your max definately comes down every year I have found. I becomes more important for me to do intervals at 85-92% so I can stay with bunches on hills in races. Chow
  11. ****... your resting pulse is great / low ... what is your age... normally someone young cant get their resting pulse that low. from what you say your max is I think your age is approx 30... shows some potential.
  12. The 170cm cranks sound definately to short, I would advise changing the cranks to 172.5 not 175 ?
  13. Wow... now I missed the boat... where can one get more info on what you already have. I know the Minolta guys in Heidelberg are using this method you mentioned above. Thanks
  14. I have paid for this photo... just using it till I get the real one in the post. Suikerbossie ... yep I was tired. But notice the nice relaxed style... flowing effortlessly ... yeah sure Mickey38805.6368634259
  15. Linnega you are correct... close to the width of the shoulders... Cycle ab can help in this regard
