    Commencal MTB

well i cant complain either Albeit i dont have a full susser & have the supernormal deluxe HT frame. 1st frame cracked at the bridge on chainring side due to a bad weld bead. I also have to say that i thrashed it in a nice way though ( not pulling it through my gat ) but there are some downhills that perhaps i should have taken a little easier but point being that the frame cracked slightly I contacted Graham & Juan-Luk & without even a hint of an excuse or blah they replaced my frame. On the contrary it felt as if id just bought the frame brand new from them. I applaud awesome service like that & in my opinion Graham is one of the most stand-up kinda guys i know in the bike industry. I give him 12 out of 10 for the awesome dealings ive had with them. From getting the simplest commencal grips to match my frame to replacing my original frame My next bike in all liklihood will be a commie again. Dont just give up, have a look at the derailer hangar because in all liklihood its bent ( to be fair & honest aswell it really doesnt take a lot to bend it. One simple knock without you even knowing it bends that thing ). I had a long cage & it bent at groenkloof & also couldnt undertand why my shifting was so poor. I then resorted after much sukkeling to getting myself an XT shadow medium cage - I tell you its like chalk & cheese just my 2cents worth
  6. whaha, you brought a good laugh to my face. The people think im nuts laughing at my laptop here
  7. as they say too bad sooooo sad now they getting as they so nicely say in afrikaans die blinde sambok
  8. Precisely & exactly the reason i will not do so or distribute it it around. I honestly dont need that type of nonsense in my life. I vaguely remember that thread however never saw them until now
  9. nope i dont want to implicate myself in this whole saga & have legal action brought along my path. Ive got enough **** to worry about as is. How bout those implicated publish it ?. That sounds more fun doesnt it ? I dare you to publish it, as it was lekker nailing us behind our backs, now be man enough to publish what was said. We all wait in eagre anticipation
  10. ive just seen the minutes of the said meeting & people all i can say is. They looied us straight in the dung funnel. Dont PM me for the minutes, youll not get it from me however SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING You ought to be ashamed of yourselves As the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me never ever again will any of you ever even get a hint of the smell of my money again Remember power is in the consumers hands, this is not a threat but rather some food for thought More than ever now CWC & CRC youll be seeing my money.
  11. hmmmm i know, im scratching my head here too
  12. I honestly couldnt have thought of better statement than you have just made. Once again someone that took the bull by the horns & is making a pretty roaring success of it at the moment but on our local shores is CWC. So apart from the overseas supplier CRC we have our very own competitor & as you guessed no one else likes it very much & i stand under correction but also heard that they are trying to get them closed down as its putting a dampner on their business - Ag siestog someone call a waambulance Well done to the boys of CWC, you are a model that everyone should be following whether it be customer relations or just simply picking & packing the item. Not too mention great prices.
  13. you sound like the green insurance company with the cover over everything in adverts. Only you guys will call it a peddle cycle as its stated like that under my insurance shedule aswell. not quite sure of the bike being flung over the guard rail though, seems plausible but not really believeable however i also have to admit that flukes do happen. Look at what happened to another hubber just about nearly having his leg chopped off by a truck & the series of murphys laws that nailed him in that incident. not too mention the blood all over his bike & a couple of stitches later. Pretty lucky to be alive id say
  14. I think you are correct in what you are saying & i will retract my prior statement as to the admittance of price fixing. I will amend my post
  15. so if im understandin you correctly, what you are saying is that the LBS will actaully screw themselves over by ordering overseas with higher tariffs. If this catches my mind correctly it wouldnt matter whether myself or the LBS order from overseas. import charges will be equal.thus pushing bike shop prices higher which equals less sales. hmmmm it just doesnt make any logical sense to me or perhaps im just not catching the drift here thus to say the argument is true
  16. hehehehe, i find that a rather lame short there BTW who are the new owners, whom are not implicated ?
  17. I thought this was going to happen, it was or just is a matter of time. The fat cats are still scoring all the way. Very clever & alas we get nailed once again as the consumer & freedom of choice is taken away from us, because lets face it. Who is going to spend at CRC if duties are skyrocketted through the roof. Its amazing what greed turns people into. Selling souls comes to mind This is when i say, let the local industry vergaan & run its course. We all say the local industry will fail due to us spending money elsewhere overseas & im not denying that whatsoever. But when you out & out to screw me with whichever means then i say &%#! you. Hence my purchasing from CRC. Now this ?. Its pathetic to say the least & that my dear friends is what we call utter childish nonsense & greed.
  18. haaaa haaaa, once again ill tell you why. Clever marketing to get the fat ass americans off the burgers & pizza, i swear they have a eating disease. My aunt & uncle bought their bikes for this precise reason. Because they became lazy fat ass, dikgat whatever you wanna call it americans. This living off burger king & macdonalds, not to mention pizza hut. Nothign wrong with the take out food, but that nation just doesnt know what the words - in moderation means
  19. well thats not going to happen & ill tell you why. Supercycling was on last night & there was a direct admittance that discussions happened of what RRP should be & was not right on their part. Yes some of the bike stores & disties were implicated under fauls pretences who joined the meeting, but as someone earlier said. Keeping quite about the whole thing & not bringing it to light makes you just as guilty - this means in my mind that you were definately thinking of doing it not to say you have/have not already if said stores just kept quite. There will be as said aswell, a tribunal to dispute their alleged role in it but as a whole those that were actively involved will have to wait for the outcome a while back i read someones comment here on the hub saying that this person has done a lot for SA cycling regardless of what we think. Well blow me down with a feather.I could swear im being taken for a ride
  20. Giving my honest opinion, JUST AS GUILTY IF NOT MORE SO..., However the LBS is the quickest one to take the brunt as that is where i the consumer spends my money, sooo naturally theyll be the ones to be outgunned 1st. with everything there is a process, I rant about the LBS, The lBS rants to the supplier & such it goes up the line - which i think is a fair assumption
  21. could be, you have a point WRT bike shop slanderings but alas what was spoken about around that table simply just is not on. Cudos to yellow saddle for taking the bull by the horns protecting our interests, thats something i really appreciate. With that also said looking at it in a realistic mannor, i rarely supported the LBS due the prices. To me it was simply just ripping the ring out of everything & much rather spent my hard earned tom getting something from CRC & nogal in the color that i prefer so i guess there are those thatll still support LBS regardless - me on the other hand thinks a little differently.
  22. no offence DR, but can you imagine what that could do to them ? 400hubbers & i tell someone & then they tell someone & so on....not too mention the other 399 hubbers eish, i see a calamity on its way if that were to be the case. Sadly we are too comfortable paying the prices instead of boycotting like the overseas people do. so unless we as consumers do something about it ( ie: boycott or whatever the case may be ) then i dont think any of us really have much of a leg to stand on except voice our unimportant opinion on the hub where it doesnt really count for much & its just another lost thread in the vast internet space
  23. the omnico ( oBike ) sale comes to mind
  24. couldnt agree more thrash it, & thrash it hard. Them legs must burn bad...
  25. wowie zowie Brussel your bike is the very 1st 29er that my eyes have actually taken to. Really is a beautiful bike. take good care of it but most importantly thrash it hard but soft if that makes sense
