  1. I am with Naked and have no issues with them.. On the wheels, you can only claim what you're insured for as mentioned earlier in the post. As far as second hand bicycles go, people have a tendency to buy a bike for 5K, insure it for 30K as the model is no longer available and ultimately the claim becomes an upgrade... sad but true. In your case, I would suggest to wait for the outcome and if not happy, approach Naked internal ombudsman and state your case, there job is to put you in the same position that you were. If your insured amount is higher vs what you actually paid, then it becomes tricky because you then over insured the item.
  2. What’s wrong with it?
  3. I think the first question you need to ask, do you enjoy grinding or spinning. I'm 1.68 on a 52cm with 170mm crank, 53/39 and 11/28. I am a low cadence rider though. 39 and 28 will get me up most hills in Cape town. If you prefer high cadence, then the 50 - 32 will be a good option. Have you considered 52/36 and 11/32?
  4. They must arrest him too... I see here's another profile on bike hub selling watches with no boxes or chargers.
  5. I think this could be the problem. OSPW requires a longer chain.
  6. Reminds me of my apprentice days, a valuable lesson I learnt back then. Tried helping someone with a water damaged laptop, only had light on power button. Opened, cleaned, inspected and noticed the level of corrosion damage was to severe. Closed, and when I gave it back, the light no longer came on and was then blamed for breaking the device. From that day onwards, if it's broken, I can't break it further. "dead, dead and dead"
  7. If you have the time... check out precisionbicycles_za on Instagram... That will give you some background of who I am.
  8. I will definitely take this on.. service the unit too.
  9. If you in Cape Town, I'll give it go... I am an Electronics expert though. 😁
  10. Not really, but if the options are to service a unit by me OR 20K, I would choose me any day of the week.
  11. @avatar what do you think 😎
  12. Crash course on Youtube completed.
  13. I think when the time comes, it's something I would try doing myself. If you do have a Kickr that does require a service, feel free to contact me and I will give it a go. Please note, if the unit is faulty, I can only make it worse OR get it right 🤣
  14. I would definitely replace the battery. Easy fix if you know what you're doing.
  15. The sad reality is that someone on this forum knows who the culprit is. SHAME ON YOU!
