  1. Saw you guys head for the trails just as we were getting ready to head back towards Benoni. Was together with my OneTen the 4 best looking rides for the day. The most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden. I'll recommend them in a heart beat. I've found this to be the first saddle ever that I can feel exactly in which way I have adjusted it. Can feel exactly if it is to far back, to far to the front or if the nose is to high, or to low. The longest time I have spent on it has been 7hrs and it did not feel like it was trying to kill me.
  2. Now been ridden quite a bit in the month. Did a 60km odd ride on Saturday and this OneTen is just such a comfortable place to be. Cannot stop smiling; even in the company of some rather fancy carbon steeds the PYGA still steals the show. Also saw another group on Pyga's leave BRB on Saturday.
  3. You'll see a Spez side cage on my OneTen above, and you'll see them on all my MTB's. These things hold a bottle like almost no other and they are extremely durable. Not lost a single bottle in a couple of years after switching over to these.
  4. So now it is nearly done. Wheels and drive train pretty much 100% dialed in as I want it. Shocks will definitely take a couple of rides to get it just right, but that is no worry. Also added the custom made green and black RockShox decals, even have Pyga printed on the decals. On the pic taken inside The Cobbles Shop the decals still had to be applied to the fork. Tomorrow we really ride. On Saturday I plan to do a long dirt road ride to see how it comfortable the Pyga platform really is.
  5. Thanks guys, I am all jitters in anticipation.
  6. Still a couple of days. But today my Oneten took its place on the stand. In order to get some work done and to stay away from the shop I am leaving Gauteng and rather spending a couple of days in Cape Town. Riding it Saturday.
  7. It is always easy to take the base "My position is right; your position is wrong." and not for one moment really considering for more than 6 fuming seconds that the problem is based in a situation which offers little other option. Consider for a moment the scenario's faced by the organisers in telling the entrants 'sorry guys, you now ride less than 50km's.' You really think they made this choice cause it was the easy call? If people loose life or limb because of a call which allowed you to ride through a burning area whom will you blame? You'll line up pitchforks and torches? When the Highveld in Mpumalanga starts burning again in August you are welcome to bring your bike and see if you can race a fire that is being driven by a 70km/h wind...... When you see how quick a fire runs and how it skips a highway you will recognise the deadly danger that this seeming inconvenience called a wild fire really is. Personally I've decided to not be go down to CPT for the weekend. I'll get to ride again in 2016; my training is not lost since there are many more races in 2015. My prayers go out to the owners who lost property and the firemen trying to stop this disaster as soon as possible. To the guys meandering on Sunday, enjoy the privilege of riding your bike.

    Polar V800

Hi guys, I've been following this topic with interest. Been using the RCX5 for a while and super happy. Any news on when we can expect the V650. Saw it is being launched in Europe end of September, which is basically this week.
  9. Fantastic result!! Well done.
