Sir Bobby! I'm running a 2.2 cross mark at the back with a 2.4 MK up front. I also have trail wheels with 2.4 MK's front (running the tread backwards for even more grip in the corners) and back, work like a bomb in the mud.

Not sure what the boys are on about with regards the 45km? I did that with my ex 2 years ago, granted we werent racing but it a lingere model can comfortably get through it on a hard tail ....... its not that rough! Cant wait for the 75km! And yes tubless is the way to go!

Weight was never an issue to me until i wanted to upgrade my bike. Didn;t see the point of spending 50K on a bike that weights the same as what i have now with an inch less travel at the back. If its not lighter no point is upgrading?

I've had mine on my all mountain rig for about 2 years now. 1 Concussion, lotsa blood, even more mud and they are still going strong. Note - your chain will wear the colour off the teeth but the majority of the wheel still looks just fine.

They are the 2 "cogs" in your rear derailleur that guide the chain. They dont affact your gear ratio, that is determined by the number of teeth on your front balde and rear cassette
