Since my last moan about my LBS I received some good advice from Nellie - (thanks you rock!) - and I can proudly say that I know a lot more than I did before.. but even armed with knowledge its the same reception... Matters not though, its just an observation I made..Thyolo...Speedy!

  6. Wow you guys sure have spirit! To keep it going, I will deposit another R300 into the Sign Up account - which means that now there will be exactly 1 Cycle Safe Sign in my part of SA - and hopefully I can make sure it ends up somewhere along the Shova route so all of you can admire it!! haha Lulu, will you come and visit it with me before the Shova?
  7. Hey thanks ShaunH.. Huge Smiles here!!

  14. Ok, so i was in sleepy town of Ladysmith last week. Nothing ever happens there. The only thing that changes are the traffic lights etc.etc.. so off i go to town to do some shopping and.... whats that!! shock horror... wipe out my eyes... Its a Cycle Safe Sign. Go around the block to double check. Yes its there. On further travel into the "dorpie" I saw another 6 signs!! Well done to who ever organised this... So now I want to know.... if the council in a "dorpie" like Ladysmith can put up signs for the safety of their people.... then why cant the people "in the know" in this major city called Durban look out for their cyclists as well.. Just wondering.... How many entries this month ShaunH?
  15. i agree, (and will probably get "taken out" on the hub for this). Give credit where its due. He has guts and knows how to dig deep,he rode like a machine yesterday and kicked some .....- 60 stitches and still wins a stage.. how many of us could ever dream of that? Come on, how about for once saying: Well done! ok i will leave now before the onslaught..bobbie2007-07-24 01:12:54
