    I am going to spend the next 2 weeks between Springbok , Kamieskroon , Skilpad and Garies cycling on routes that we have done before . Is is possible/safe( traffic) to do a loop from Springbok to Spektakelpass and back through Nababeep ? Looks like there is a road from the Nababeep N7 road back to the R355 . Tips are welcome Thanks

    I am frequently amazed at the nr of riders who wear black tops , jackets . I know it's the fashion but hey , what comes 1st ?

    We read all the time that where a weapon ( firearm , knife etc ) was used to injue or kill a person that object is immediately seized by SAPS. Even where a licensed owner used it in self defence. Why should it be different because it is a vehicle even if that vehicle belongs to a bank.

    All you guys going . It is also the Olive Festival in Prince Albert that weekend so make sure you book accommodation in time . The Tourism Office is always helpfull .

    My first one and enjoyed it . Very well organized and great spirit amongst the riders . Could have done without the jeep and single track in the last 20 Kms but I suppose that just tiredness talking .

    Thanks for all the input guys and for the kind offer BogusOne will take you up on it . I should perhaps stated my intentions earlier being that I do not intend doing anything like W2W or any of the Cape Trails with the SS ( at this stage ? ) I have a geared bike for those . My training routes in Durbanville and Prince Albert are flattish and that is where I intend using it . But I like the simplicity .
