  5. I need help from those with experience . Started a vintage build and see some nice parts on e bay.Having not purchased on ebay before how do you do the delivery , VAT and customs thing ? I am living in Prince Albert ( from next week that is) so street delivery wont work. I will have a Post Box there. Will it go to the post box and they charge me customs and VAT ? A friend recently sent me parts as a gift from Australia . I was contacted by a shipping agent who collected that VAT from me and then charged me documentation fees . Thanks. Arno. 9. The start of my Eroica Colnago project . Whilst still looking for a suitable frame I was going to go for full Campag . But on stripping this Colnago Expert ( built in 1982/3 ) I read up on Gipiemme parts . GPM made parts for Campagnolo before Campagnola started their own manufacturing . This bike had a beautiful Gipiemme crankset , original GPM bb in excellent condition , GPM sport brake calipers , GPM headset and GPM front derailleur , I decided to stick to GPM for this project . I had a while ago bought a set of Record hubs and a set of new ( old ) Ambrosio rims . So pse hubbers I need the following Set of GPM track pedals Set of GPM brake levers ( non aero ) Set of GPM downtube shifters Rear GPM derailleur 6/7 speed . 26.8 seat post of Italian origin. I want to finish the project by 18 March 2017 , being the date for Eroica South Africa 2017 .
  10. As an old ( in years ) cyclist who introduced my sons to cycling , I am sure what your dad wanted to instill in you , happened . Your writing showed that. Well done .
  11. Now read the article here on bikehub on conversation with a mugger . Makes my blood boil . And those on that thread who feel " ag shame " would they say that if that poor girl was their daughter or sister .
  12. Total rubbish . He had choices , a job , a sporting chance , but he chose to be a criminal . He is not the only person to come from that background . A large percentage chose a better path . All credit to them . Typical of modern society , blaming everyone else .
