Looking for a 2h4x this year from group E. Got a 2h54 last year from D, so I have a feeling I need to hang on to the front of this group... I am in much better shape this year than last...

My advice? Swing back to the car. The few times I've done the double lapper I've cycled back to the car to get new bottles, energy bar bar or two and drop my chip off - nothing worse than riding two laps and having your data messed up by additional chips hits. I love it - first lap is fast'n'furious - second lap you get to soak up the atmospere a bit. Do the right thing and help fix a few punctures and provide a nice slipstream to a few people etc. (This was copied from last years thread with regards to lap 2)

You will need to be starting before 7, with (at worst) a 3hr predicted race time on your first lap, to get into the last batch to begin your second lap... The M1 re-opens shortly after the last batch comes off.

I'm keen, if I make it back in time before the last group goes off.

I have since changed the wheels though. I still think the blue looks better, but these wheels are the bomb to ride with.

N14 just after the Petroport on that lekker right curve. Legs are tired by then, and its a nice uphill to leave the likes of Tevez scratching his head as to where it all went so wrong.

Here is some kind of guideline... I wouldn't follow it too closely as it is a few years old now, but it does hold some relevance.
