I remember the Cresta center movies being where the Absa is now. Before the multi million rand upgrades they have since done. Syringa Spa. Yussy, that place was the bomb!! Swimming pools galore... I see the sign is still up on that Avianto, Kloofzicht road.

I too have a story I am still trying to forget about... It involved getting caught smoking zol in the garden, being taken upstairs and being caned by a woman. I sh** you not. Only White Horse can boast such outlandish claims...

... When Tony Hawk and Ray Barbee came to the Standard Bank Arena. My goodness, I had never witnessed skateboarding on that scale. We were still on locally made Variflex boards, trying to ollie. They were pulling 9ft airs.

    Who remembers?

When the only Look and Listen was on Pretoria street in Hillbrow, next to the Three Sisters Cafe. The days before digital music kinda ruined a lot of things (for me personally). When getting a new record or cassette meant getting a little booklet and reading the lyrics.
  18. Just checking that PDF of Hubber Picks and Cancellara is not on the rider list on the left? Has he just been cut off or left out? Sure I picked him? But alas, I may be wrong...
  19. Fixed. Not an ounce of sympathy for him. You play with fire, you get burnt.
  20. This is exactly the wrong mindset. Instead, we need to provide sports with incentives and measures to discourage unhealthy, unnecessary, risky medical intervention – so that those who want to compete clean have a venue where they can have a decent chance. This is why many sports bodies, including ALL that are affiliated with the IOC (directly or indirectly), are signed up to the WADA Code. Maybe it would be better for viewing to watch these "superhumans" climbing the Alpe in 31 minutes, but at the end of the day, what about those that want to compete clean? Where do they go when they want to abide by the laws of the governing bodies? Edit:Spelling

  23. As good as Zithromax is, it is supposed to be used for bacterial infections. Not going to be much use for viral infections such as cold or flu. Having said that, it worked a treat on an ear infection I had earlier this year.
  24. Hope someone here knows more about front derailers than what I do. So I am getting "chain rub” on my front derailer on the big chainring (on the outside of the chain). I know the H limit screw on the actual derailer will adjust the limit, but I think that is fine, because when I push the shifter, the derailer moves across far enough that the chain has about 1-1.5mm clearance. My question though, is that when I release the shifter, the derailer moves back to the position that it is rubbing the chain. How do I make it stay in the outermost position, so as not to come into contact with the chain? Edit:Spelling
