    It's my first time doing this type of event. What's the approach to corrugation in terms of bike setup? Does a slightly softer fork setup and tyres help? I'm looking to do 8 hours plus on a hardtail, so improvements to comfort trump outright efficiency. See you all there!

    Not more than two hours drive. Preference will be given to closer segments though. The submissions will be ongoing as we proceed through the series. You may submit as many segments as you like. However, should you want all your segments consider, I'd recommend getting your entry in before Tuesday next week.

    All round great event. I really enjoyed it. Thank you organisers! Although I figured this out beforehand, and can't complain, I was also somewhat disappointed that last year's route was not repeated. It was one of the most enjoyable and challenging single day races in the Western Cape. Hoping the Trailseeker race later in the year uses the full Bains trails route.
