  1. His petulant trolling has been an absolute boon for Gregg's. They've now (sausage) rolled it out to all 1800 outlets and it's selling out the whole time. That being said, apparently (this is what the rumour mill is churning out) Piers Morgan and Gregg's are both represented by the same PR firm and some have speculated a coordinated campaign.
  2. As long as there’s no exploitation of an animal (incl. humans), then I don’t see why not.
  3. EXO+ is going to be great when it's released. There's a day and night difference between EXO and DD. DD is not far off of a proper DH tire.
  4. Asking the important questions there, Patch.
  5. I stand corrected. ✌????
  6. I don't think it's a regulated thing, so there's probably no governmental middleman to intervene. Probably more community based - you know someone donating and get to know them or perhaps there's a clinic or some kind of center which connects folks. Just my guess.
  7. Did Le Tour pass through there?
  8. On the topic of breastfeeding, I recently listened to a podcast where this was discussed and how in certain places, breast milk donation is being used to support mothers who can't sufficiently breastfeed their babies. It's either this one: https://plantproof.com/being-earthy-andy-vegan-mother-and-internet-sensation/ Or this one: https://plantproof.com/creating-a-conscious-vegan-family-with-ellen-fisher/ Well worth a listen. I guess in our modern society, where we have largely lost our sense of community, donated breast milk might seem 'icky' or just plain weird, but it actually makes so much sense. It's the food that nature has developed over millions of years' of evolution to nourish young children, so if you can provide it to your children in a non-traditional way, why not.
  9. It’s part of the EPIC series here in Belgium. In Feb there’s the 100 and 200km MTB marathons, a crit later the year and then I’m also doing a 50km trail run in the hills around Spa.
  10. Take 15 min and watch this. Very powerful story. https://vimeo.com/293352305
  11. Correction - just checked Strava. I did do a 5k attempt in Oct last year. Ended up with a 22:53. I'm really going to get back into my running after my 100km MTB ultra in Feb. So, I'll put a goal in to do a sub-20 by somewhere mid year.
  12. There is no 'right' answer to this scenario. If a woman can't provide sufficient breast milk to feed her child, then it is up to her to decide whether she wants to feed her child with formula that contains animal products. The health of her newborn is (or should be) her primary concern. Luckily, there are a number of vegan options on the market. Also, Nestle has even developed a cost-effective vegan formula, which is HUGE. https://www.livekindly.co/nestle-vegan-baby-formula-infants-milk-allergies/
  13. Never gone out to set a 5k PB. Always just kind of happens during a longer run. Sub-20m 5km is *** fast though.
  14. That's made from potato starch and other ingredients, not nuts.
  15. That's it. The ban on unstunned slaughter is applicable in Flanders, as every region can legislate in this regard.
  16. On a serious note. Some news from Belgium. It's both ironic and saddening that we make films of people suffering at the hands of a psychopath and his murderous contraptions, yet this is how we treat infant animals just to satisfy our desire for a burger or steak. https://www.facebook.com/animalrights.VZW/videos/301678917144247/ This footage is from Belgium and shows the most 'humane' slaughter method now required by law. Place yourself in the position of these animals and then ask yourself whether this kind of treatment of sentient animals can be morally justified.
  17. Had this a couple of times. Very good! They're also releasing a 1/4 pounder patty sometime soon. https://www.facebook.com/mercyforanimals/videos/10156564924919475/

  19. Take any non-vegan meal you want to eat, stick it into the Google machine, add "vegan" et voila!
  20. Had some of this sprinkled on my lentil spaghetti bolognaise two nights ago: No need to have fermented breastmilk from a cow, folks. It's time to get off the titty.
  21. ????????????
  22. Can someone send Patch a aubergine care package?
  23. The man knows how to cook an aubergine (I don't say eggplant, because I'm fancy like that).
  24. So, I've decided to enter a 100km MTB ultra in the middle of Feb (smack bang in the middle of Belgian winter). I only have one bike - a 170mm enduro sled with Minions in DD casing back and front. Haven't really ridden it in 2018 (too busy running), but started training for the marathon and quickly realised that those tyres were not going to do me any favours over such a long distance. Did some research and bought a set of Rekons in 27.5X2.6. Very lekker trail tyres. The only drawback is that they're WT and really want a 30-35mm ID rim, whereas mine are only 25mm. They still work fine, but I have to up the pressure to prevent the sidewalls from squirming. Would strongly recommend them as a light trail tyre or a back tyre paired with a 2.6 DHR II for the 2.6 experience on wide® rims.
  25. Ooooh. The AssGuys have already been 'announced' in DD (and EXO?), but don't expect to see them in the wild anytime soon.
