Guess what was delivered a few minutes ago??!!! The rocksmith cable i was waiting for. It was scheduled for delivery on Friday. Well no sleep for me tonight.
I was on ucord last night practicing my hand movements, and trying to get my unwilling fingers to move in all the directions to get the cords. Up come this weird ass F. Im like what on earth is this, thats not F. WTF. Wife comes in, "O are you learning bar cords?"...... Felt a bit stupid. did not even think about that....
So after the weekend I can play the c, a, Em, g and d and f. I tried to keep up with a song on youtube, but man it goes fast. Great fun, and waiting impatiently for rocksmith to arrive.
But it is so pretty.... I get what you are saying. My dakkie is feeling bleh the last couple of weeks. And it is not happy with the 100km a day commute at highway speeds.
Forgot to mention. I can not play at all. but I already have an: acoustic, electric acoustic, bass, and now this one....... I bought this bad boy last night. Can not play anything and apperantly this is a good guitar to start with. Mixed reviews, but got it second hand for a very descent price, and it is very comfy in hand. Guy I bought it from believes in N+1! Currently he has 49 guitars. Also bought rocksmith earlier this month. So now i can learn to play from my XBOX. Behringer Metalien.

Went for a run before work this morning. only 2km again, but I can not believe it is the same 2 kms as Sunday. I had to walk sections, breath out of control, sore legs and I am still seeing stars. AVG pace of 6:38.
