Good evening Hubbers! I came home to a nasty surprise this evening - my power was turned off, but not in the familiar lock shedding fashion. Yes, the municipality came to the power box in the street, and did this - We've been receving multiple "disconnection notices" from the council, and even though they weren't addressed to me specifically, they were attached to this house. Upon further inspection, the METER number the disconnection notice makes reference to is the water meter! Does this mean that the previous owners of this home didn't settle their water bill before they signed it over? Is this not something the lawyers should have made sure of? Also, how does one read a water meter anyway? #grownupthings.

It was a wonderful stage to watch. The battle between Poggie and Vingegaard ended up underwhelming, except for that quasi sprint at the end. I was willing for a significant attack to materialize.

GCN hack, 100%

Easy as pie. Purchase a (pricey) sub, hovers around R1000-R2000 per annum, turn it on on your device, pick a country where GCN is not locked (often China and for some reason NZ are locked), then open up the GCN app, and the race should broadcast. I've been doing this since day one, and only now with the Tour has it kicked back, but I can't conclusively say it's the VPN. The GCN app keeps telling me to Subscribe to Watch, but I know I've renewed my membership for 2022.

Perhaps 2 consecutive GTs is a stretch too far for everyone's favourite 'cross rider. Or, like one of the commentators suggested, he is doing as little as possible to just finish the Tour. I don't recall him mentioning going for stage wins (for himself). The mountain/hilly stages are on the way, we shouldn't forget that, and the riders are aware too. Yesterday's stage was a spectator's delight, but I don't think many riders were looking forward to it.

I'm not convinced. He looked like he was in the hurt locker yesterday. He never grimmaces like that. But people are making too many conclusions this early, a grand tour is a 21 day game of chess, not blitz.
