We can't understand why we can't go for our daily run.....

You have to take your climbing legs with. They don't call it the Land of a 1000 Hills for nothing! I got to see volcanoes, one of the great lakes and ride through a rain forest all within 170 odd kms.

Very interesting country and I could do this race at a fraction of the cost of our SA races. Air tickets to Rwanda are relatively cheap. All you need is a weeks leave.

I went to participate in the Race Around Rwanda. A new non-stop, self supported bikepacking race.

The second photo is Nyungwe Forest. The first one is after I came out of a valley about 270km east of Kigali. Bikepacked all around Rwanda.

Just been cycling in Rwanda. Some spectacular scenery and a great place to ride a bike.

Maxxis tyres have a line just above the tyre bead which should run parallel to the rim when seated properly. If there is one area still below the rim lip you will not be able to see the line and you will the know which area is being problematic. A little bit of manipulation with your hand in that area can help seat it. You can see what I mean on this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdzau5cQE3Y

I would ask the insurance company to sign an acceptance of medical liability in the case of the failure of one of repairs. They wont, and I would then ask them why etc etc....
