  2. It is a Specialized FSR XC Comp. rd = SLX Shaddow I checked again on the weekend, this is only on rough terrain and when you have it on full suspension open. I was doing about 34km/h then it the ghost shifting happens.
  3. This only happens at high speed 25km/h +
  4. Is this normal on a dual sus that when you going over rough terain that the chain jumps between gears or just skipp?
  5. The other call one gets a lot is that you have won a competition at a Garage, resturant or shop and to clam your prize you need to go to usualy Midrand to claim your prize.

    Free Product

    Sounds interesting will also try.
  8. Just don't go Cell C (you will C yourself) they got the same type of irritating adverts for free minutes.
  9. You got that right. A bike shop should ask Questions when someone buys. When I changed my tyres they asked what type of riding I do and sugested from there, they also offered different prices on different makes.
  10. Sounds interesting. Will always try something new.
  11. My problem' date=' I'm too trusting. Age old scheme. Advertized my car, guy calls and interested. Made the payment into my bank account on the Saturday morning, just before 11. Got the sms from the bank that the money was paid in and it's available. Released the car that afternoon. Monday afternoon get another sms from the bank, money reversed. Guy used a stolen cheque. Result: car gone, bank balance minus R32000.00. Always thought that this would never happen to me, but these people are good. They know exactly how to treat you and soften you up. Still mad with myself that I got caught like this.[/quote'] My couson had the same problem, Sold his Nirvara to a guy, he personaly phoned the bankto confirm the money is in the bank ant cant be reversed and that it was not a cheque payment. The bank said the money is there and that it was an EFT payment. End of the month the banked called him and asked why he did not make his installment payment where he told them it was settled. They then told him its not and the payment that was made was reversed. Ended up it was a cheque payment and not a EFT. Bank messed up and after a lot of fighting as they had the recordings luckely his account got settled and Nedbank gave the oak wo have the car a big Chrismas gift.

  14. I like the Wasp kit more.
  15. Sunlights eats away the protective layer of the paint. Keep it in the kitchen. Also dont use it in your cars windowcleaner.
  16. The product from works is called Offroad King. Cost is as follows 1lt Sparay bottle = R55 5lt Refill = R55 Silicone spray = R70 They are busy to get into cycle shops to sell this. 17. That is why the product from WIRX is great as it got the silicone base. Doesn't matter what you used you need to lubricate after washing and when you bike is dry.
  18. Agreed. Sunlight not gooood. gremlin2009-05-08 06:15:04
  19. I use a new product from WIRX. It is pink in color, like the Clean Green you just spray this on leave to dry then hose it of. They also use this on off road card and bikes and works like a bomb. The cog and chain looked brand new (No scrubbing necessary). Also not harmfull chemicals as it also has a silicone base.
  20. My hands and a chamois.
  21. Dunkeld cycles is great. I've had small problems with my bike and some just before a race and they always are willing to help immediately and get it sorted. They also have good quiality stock. Not just the cheper things like gloves that only last 2-3 rides then you need to buy new ones. I've been to a few shops before and one had to book your bike in for the servive and some you need to book long in advance for service bookings.

  24. Green Route: 20km, 480m Accent, Moderate. Don?t let the distance fool you; this is 20km of single track, bush tunnels, bridges, boardwalks and lung bursting climbs. It?s a good work out while having the best time ever on two wheels. Duration 2 - 3 hours. Red Route: 30km, 728 Accent, Intermediate. This route is an extension of the Green Route. A bit more climbing with awesome views. This is a good long ride with a bit of everything in it. You have a choice of a technical (bush tunnel) or a fun twisty single track back. Escape point is at the green route turn off. Duration 5 hours. Purple Route: 55km, 1200m Accent, Difficult. The first 15km is a non stop battle with granny gear. The view and single track is well worth the climb. Two escape routes have been marked out. Take lots of water, food and a cell phone. Duration 5 - 8 hours. Just ask at reception where to start you route you decide on. You can also do river tubing there, might be a bit cold. Thei also have a section down the bottom of the campsite that you can practice tecnical skills.
