  5. Its a crap life where I am, not time to cycle properly. Working 3 weeks no day off so I can cycle the 94.7 The Hotel is in CT near the VA waterfront. I did my training alooooong time ago. I did a 3 year in house course that was run by the HITB in those days. Did our 6 week a year theory at Apex in Benoni

  9. I have 10 cream bombs that we dont use at work any more. They are filled with 10cm3 of N2O. They dont have a threaded top . Can thses be used as bombs for my tires ?
  10. Nice 1 Wsquared thats service and more than that no one can ask for. Even if some problems cannot be helped its how you come across to the client. Of course it has to be with in reason , ask me some of the stuff we get asked in the hotel and when we cant do it due to some logistical problem we get ten tons of sh!t.
  11. Sorry Gromit If you miss understood my post. I never meant to imply u asked for a loan bike. I was just saying that to get a loan bike would of been a long shot I would of gone ape by now though hats off to ur patience
  12. I agree dissing a bike shop over a saddle sounds harsh but I think the service the guy is getting is what he has his back up with. I agree that to get a loan bike for a saddle problem is a long shot but why not a loan saddle? Im sure they could of made a plan for a saddle some how. Thats not service, thats just wiping your hands a of easy solved problem. And this after the guy dropped R24k in your shop. I hope they call you by name.
  13. At the traffic lights at paddocks if you are comming from parklands side , look to the far left corner where they turn onto otto from race course road . You will see a path and a sign leet222009-11-03 23:54:32
  14. If they are fully qualified paramedics they should be able to cope with anything they come across. They are the ones in the field saving lives everyday. If some of the help you have recived was bad/worng etc it may be they were ambulance drivers only not medics. How may of these guys get asked for their qualifications when they arrive at the race? could be some dodgy company is sending out drivers as medics. Put the doc a 250 off road, will be there in a wink. I take my hat off to all the medics, drivers, fireman, doctors nurses and police that have to mop up after us after we fall
  15. will have to make a little trip out to see when I get a day off
  16. Got mine on the 23rd of Oct
  17. Mr Tar where u based? I need a few repairs done to my XZR750h
  18. Whens the DC again?
  19. All your justification doesn't turn breaking the law into an acceptable act. Never said it is acceptable act but but a act that 99.9% of us do everyday . popping to the shop no seat belt etc etc Just saying sometimes I break the law as there is no way Im going to sit at a traffic light at 5am in the morning on a dead road and wait for a car to come so it can change.
  20. I agree fully that the law is the law and it should be up held. But we all break the rules sometimes speeding etc and we should make sure that we dont endanger anyone elses life in anyway. I will ride through a red traffic light where i live as it only changes when a car is there and a carbon cycle is not going to change it. But I do stop at it and make sure it is clear before i go across. I ride with a hemut not because its a law but because it is safer to do so. I try ride in the yellow line for the same reason .

  22. Ok Thx But Im worried about the bars they seem to be stuck out even if I loosen them and turn them side ways. Scared they get crushed
  23. I got a soft bike bag and need some hints on how to pack my road bike in there. Anyone use one of these bags that can give me some pointers? Do you have to remove anything other than the wheels?
  24. Nice answer thx. Asked a legitimate question. I know how they work. So it seems I will just have to ride through them on red and anger you.
