Hmm heres a wierd on. Anyone got a parent or wife/hubby that lives in the Milnerton area with a enclosed bakkie or panel van that wants a bit of extra cash? looking for someone to deliver cakes etc for me. When i worked at Malelane I had to remove snakes almost everyday from hotel rooms from the moz cobra to black mamba's. Even causght a mamab by hand. Was in a cuboard and in the dark and following what a manager told me it was a brown house snake. Well it was till i picked it up and it opened it's mouth. Was the only snake we killed in 3 years there. I even had a pet rock python in all that time only one guard got spat in the eyes and another stood on a scorpion . Worse bite I had was from a blue headed agama . After i read up on int it says inflicts a painful bite if provocked

Up faire garden, then cross over to my roots.up there then up jeep track to bottom of vasbyt up vasbyt to top. Then up to boulders from boulders to new DH section . then Take a long ride up to top of bridal path down bridale path, down to mamba ride mamba down to boomslang, acroos to snay snake eyes down to bottom. ride out on jeep track to top of vasbyt down vasbyt to bottom across to my roots again ride up to faire garden and then back down to car park should do well. JUST TURN OFF BEFORE THE BERM ON TOP OF VASBYT

I think what he means was that its a "waste " to have your bike set up as strict as a road bike. On a MTB you always on the move changing postions etc. I think a basic set up to be comfertable on the bike should always be done.

Guys one thing we must rememeber. Most of you are fit healthy guys and unless its a black mamba bite very far from medical help the chances of pegging are slim.

Stay away from any anti venom. it could be worse than the bite. 1 try relax, the harder ur heart pumps the faster the venom spreads 2 if u have wrap a bandage around the bite starting from above the bite. it has been shown to slow down the speed of the venom. 3 get to medical help
