Directions From the Zambesi off ramp turn east on the R513 heading towards Cullinan. After 1.2Km turn left onto the R573 (Moloto road). Carry on for 44.3Km. Big Tree shopping mall on left hand side. Racing does not take place on Moloto road! Ample safe parking. Go to Event Page

Event Name: Vortex Cycling Challenge When: 25 March 2012 Where: Big tree mall, Moloto, Pretoria, Gauteng Category: Road The Vortex cycle challenge is a road race on nice quit roads 43km north of Zambezi road. Distances range from 30km to a challenging 112km. There will be three water points. Ample safe parking in the shopping mall parking lot. Go to Event Page
  3. Yes they will be in the area. We did not really plan a series, but will have a special medal on completion of the last race based on a seeding of all the races.

  10. If you use the heavy bike in some races and stay with the bunch you will definitetly improve, and when you make the switch to the lighter bike you will feel the difference.
  11. Power to weight. You will still use the same watt to kg ratio. The only diference is it will take you longer to do your normal ride on the heavy bike.
