From the very beginning, TUFO worked hand in hand with many world champions and elite racers from all cycling disciplines. This cooperation makes the transition of theoretical knowledge from development and research into new products much easier. These days TUFO products are manufactured to the highest standards conforming to the strictest criteria in the races for a podium finish. https://www.tufo.com/en/ SAVE 30% ON THE XC 11 TR 29" - NOW ONLY R695.00 TUFO XC11 TR Tubeless Ready 29″ MTB Tyre Tubeless-ready all-purpose MTB tyre intended for XC and marathon racing. The tread pattern of the XC11 TR tyre provides low rolling resistance, is self-cleaning and has exceptionally good grip in a wide range of weather and terrain conditions. Because that’s what you need from a high-performance race tyre. TUFO ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES OIL SILICA A soft compound (60 Shore A) developed for MTB cross country and marathon tyres. Adding a reasonable amount of oil to a polymer blend with Activated Silica improves traction and reduces rolling resistance. SIDEWALL PROTECTION A specially formulated slippery sidewall strip protects the most vulnerable part of certain MTB tubulars. This special sidewall strip allows the tubular to slide off sharp edges without damaging the tyre carcass. VECTRAN PUNCTURE BARRIER This most effective anti-puncture system is placed directly under the tread area. The core of the anti-puncture system is made from VECTRAN – liquid crystal polymer (LCP) fibres which are five times stronger than steel. VECTRAN also offers outstanding cut resistance and high impact resistance at a low weight – highly demanding properties for high-end bicycle tyres. VECTRAN PUNCTURE BARRIER not only provides the best possible puncture protection but also ensures precise cornering and improved stability. SHOP NOW

  10. Growing up in California surfing, skating, and snowboarding, Anthony Sinyard was always confused why cycling gear/clothing was so dull. 80’s surf brands like T&C Surf, Quiksilver, & Santa Cruz really used vibrant colors. As a UCI pro Anthony searched far and near for bike brand that emulated the captivating swagger of his favorite surf/skate brands, after coming up empty handed, the idea spawned to create his own brand. A brand which fused high-performance and vibrant style, he called it SUPACAZ. Since inception, Supacz has gone on to win all major cycling events.3 UCI Road Championships in a RowOver 100 UCI Road VictoriesSpring Classics VictoriesAll Major GC TitlesCape Epic Titles & XCO World Cup VictoriesITU Victories & World ChampionshipsThankfully, this cool and high quality brand available in South Africa from all major bike shops as well as through our own online store. It feels great to the touch, wraps well and there is a huge range of colours" - Cycling Weekly
  11. Hi Hubbers, I thought I'd post our new TOKEN Cycling Club weekend ride schedule here in case anyone's looking for a group to join. We're also looking for a few ride marshals to assist with these rides. There is free club membership and kit on offer, because we know there's "nothing for nothing" :-) (You do not need to be a member to join our group rides) For more info on the club you can visit our website https://tokencycling.co.za/token-cycling-and-multisport-club/ TOKEN Cycling Club Rides leaving from Cedar Square in Fourways / Craigavon Saturday (Leaving at 07h00 until 31 August 2019) Rides will follow a roughly circular route through the Cradle of Humankind where traffic is minimal and there are generous shoulders and cycle lanes for most of the routes. There are several route options for you to choose from dependent on your mood and cycling ability. There will be a re-group point at the traffic circle at the top of the “Valverde Climb” roughly 20km into the ride, and then another at Bidon Bistro near Kloofzicht at 53km / 70km depending which route you’re following. The support vehicle, when applicable, will follow route option 1, and will at all times ride behind the last club member on the day. The route distances will vary between 78km and 107km, and 1 000 – 1 600m of climbing, and you are free to decide for your self on the day which route / group you’d like to ride with. Sunday (Leaving at 07h30 until 31 August 2019) We have only 1 official club route on a Sunday, but again due to the nature of riding in the Cradle of Humankind you will be able to shorten your ride should you prefer to do so while still being looked after by your fellow club members and the support vehicle when applicable, The Sunday route is 82km with just over 1 000m of climbing.
