Not unique to MTB, the Panorama is a stage road race ridden in pairs but far as i.m aware its the only one.

I thought their plan B was the switch to different tyres I dont know the Ikon and there are most likely plenty of riders riding them with no issues.

We'll see what they start with tomorrow if they've stayed with IKON or changed.

In the Epic tale video and interviews KE and DG make mention of being cautious of using lighter parts, don't know the Ikon tyre but if it was used to shave weight then... well then.

Finish Line, Clint and his team are top class. There's also Impey's cycles in Bedfordview shopping center, have not used them for service but prices are reasonable.

Seriously impressed with Theresa Ralph from Biogen Britehouse, 2nd Ladies team. Theresa has a full time day job so has to fit in training where she can. Great ride by Evans and George, Evans particularly looked very strong.

I have 26' HT and a 29 DS. For me each one has it's place. I've tried my DS 29'er at Rietvlei and it did not feel right for me, felt clumsy and sluggish in the twisty bits and corners. But then on a more open and flowing course it kicked A$$, my ave is noticeably improved. So for now i'll stick to 29 for longer marathon type riding and 26 for XC.

Nah it's mine still, took me a while to nail, master, ride Rietvlei's green route and that's the easiest
