I was told my R75.00 CGC affiliation was included in my club fees but when i registered on CSA website it would not let me register without taking it out. Seems a loophole exists if you can enter via the Argus site and not have to pay it.

XL sounds right but some bikes also have different XL sizes eg Meridas XL will be different to Commencal XL. Bikes are usually measured BB to TT height but also important is TT lenghth. Added further to this the frame geometry can differ between recreational and race, cant recall if it was in Bicycling or Ride mag where they explained it.

Has anyone that falls under CGC using the CSA website to take membership for next year been able to complete the process without taking up CGC membership ???

Gauteng you do, i only applied for CSA membership, not raciog lic. This i got yesterday Your application for the membership / license type below has been approved by the Provincial Administrator. CSA Membership This today Your membership has been approved by Cycling South Africa I also got an email this lic but its for another topic RENEWAL OF YOUR DOMESTIC TV LICENCE

Gauteng you also need to join Central Gauteng Cycling (R75)so it will be R150 for CSA and CGC, with another option of taking out RAF insurance.
