I applied for begining of December and must say the communication on my status has been good, received emails telling me they received it, then each stage of verification up to today where i was informed that my CSA memebership had been approved. Smiley from me

My brother (who's a decent runner) and I (not a decent cyclist) are doing the team thing.

Have ridden with pants and bibs, and i prefer pants but i am in the minority, my preference is Naleni pants although the elastic stitching can be suspect. I also have Assos bibs and First Ascent bibs As Spinnerkop states different cycling shorts whether bib or normal suit different individuals. Not sure about trying them out though, what shop is going to allow you to return shorts after you have ridden them a few times which you have to do to see if they suit you.

I agree its best to compare Merida Mattts Lite 1000D to Silverback Spectra, the shock, gearing components and brakes are identical even the frames look similiar. I had a look at both but got a better deal on the Spectra.

My plan is to get a 29'er frame, fork and wheels then shift everything across from my MTB.

After a race i will drop off to sleep quite easily but wake up around 2 hours later then struggle to get back to sleep. Even watching the shopping channels does not work.

Coordinates are supplied by race orgs, either they are supplying it incorrect or Cyclelab are posting it incorrect.

The RS1 would be my choice, 10 spd 105 components so it will be easy to upgrade to ultegra/durace if want.
