  1. I dont believe Tiger would come on publicly with this and open himself up to a counter claim of non or shoddy service. Seems simple really, agree to do the work and get paid.
  2. I have a similiar problem with some bar ends, i'm trying to remove them so i can take off the shifters but the nuts have rusted and i've stripped the hole where the allen key goes in.
  3. Very nice What you rding now Thug.
  4. Not quite' date=' it will reflect and be included in the balance not the available balance, only after a 7 - 14 days will it reflect as available. [/quote'] Quite right Scotty! Unless the ENC is lifted on the cheque. Absolutely right, wonder how you knew
  5. Not quite, it will reflect and be included in the balance not the available balance, only after a 7 - 14 days will it reflect as available.
  6. Always maintain the east rand is the promised land. The easiest way to check if a payment is legit is to check your available balance, any payment not yet cleared will not reflect in there.
  7. Need not even be a registered hubber, you can view all posts as guest
  8. Some would say pretty balanced, chip on both shoulders.
  9. I have a cupboard full of T shirts most still in plastic and I can only handle so many benoni world champ medals and no more, I only keep a few medals from boxing , rugby, running and cycling that meant something to me, hopefully if i complete it my 1st jock will join them. Other than that i just decline the medal when offered.
  10. [quote=Big H I would go as far as to say that Grapkas is not telling the whole story and is looking for sensation...... NOBODY gets that angry without being seriously provoked. Disagree, there are a LOT of unprovoked angry people on the HUB
  11. Mate of mine cant make it and is selling his ticket Ek het drie kaartjies vir Saterdag se game. Ek kan nie gaan nie. Sit op die Noord Paviljoen agter die pale Laat my weet of iemand sal belangstel ? R150 elk.
  12. East Rand we have a problem with quads and off road bikes leaping out at us when we go off road.

  14. Any night
  15. dude' date=' that is amazing. I had to buy spanners and allen keys to do mine. does is matter which DVDs and can I uses my toaster's manual?[/quote'] I said STRIP the bike, so stands to reason they were adult DVD's.
  16. After a botched service last year I stripped my road bike bare using dvd's and manuals(wheel hubs, bb, headsets deraileres etc) and then re assembled it to see if i can, what the big deal was and see if i can also get that warm fuzzy feeling. Besides the front derailer which i found a real bitch to set the rest was quite easy, when done i did not get a warm fuzzy feeling inside, instead me, my nosey dogs and my garage were covered in grease and grime. Now comes the economics, most people employ a gardner between R100 -R150 a day, 2x a month that comes to R200 - R300 a month, even more for a garden service, i do my own gardening as i enjoy it . My LBS charges R150 for a minor, so i afford to have a minor service done monthly to my road and MTB including a great wash for what i would pay a gardner. Starting from scatch decent bike tools will set you back over R1000, excluding a good workbench and fancy torque wrench. Bottom line in my case it has nothing to do with being lazy, i will still do things if i have to like chain, cable and brake pad replacement, My LBS who have all the tools, workbench etc can do the rest while i ride and work in the garden.
  17. So that's whats in your SBR backpack
  18. I have both, if you do mainly MTB then the 305 is sufficient, less bulky and probably more duarable and less strain on the plastic holder, battery life is claimed as not too great but Big Ben got almost 11 hours out of mine on the Sani 2 Sea. For road the 705 doubles as a very good navigational device for a car and battery life is a lot better.
  19. That i dont have to carry my east rand ninja star with me on the bike anymore.
  20. Cool to hear you got the bike back. Now i can stop patrolling the neighbourhood eyeing out suspicious looking cyclists, the east rand is full of them. scotty2009-05-27 05:45:48
