  1. He was suspended for doping,When he was caught he denied doping then owned up to it. Looks like he is a mini me version of LA in that he bullied others to dope. Nice character, why should he be believed now. Gaumont accused Millar of encouraging the team's doctor, Jean-Jacques Menuet, to give both him and another rider, Cedric Vasseur, a doping product.[n 6] Gaumont said: 'Vasseur and I went to Menuet's room and were injected with a clear liquid. If Menuet agreed to do so, it was because Millar asked him to. He is the leader of the team, and leaders have such power.' Gaumont's statement implicated Millar in the police investigation into Cofidis. It was certain that the police would interview him."
  2. Which current top rider has claimed they dope.
  3. I know of no currently active top rider that has not denied doping, this makes them all liars. LA's case is perhaps special in that he's perceived not to be be a very nice person hence the mood to give it to him more.
  4. Nike GPS sportswatch sell for around R1700 and uses Tom Tom mapping, it does not have HR but HR can be added with Polar Wearlink and transmitter. I bought one with spare ebucks, It's mainly a running, walking, hiking watch but iv'e used it on the bike as well.
  5. Yikes, what's with all the insults. If it offends you take 1...2.. wait, rather take the whole bottle and stay away from the Hub for a while.
  6. Nice to see you not getting personal.
  7. I'ts his money why can he not spend it as he wants.
  8. I hope you not suggesting that opinions, if they duffer to to others should not be expressed.
  9. I think at 1.81 a 58 will be too big, As mentioned a lot depends on the frame manufacturer and your build.
  10. Bruyneel is taking his case to arbitration.
  11. Might only be bronze, but at least he will keep it....for now Berlin - Lance Armstrong will keep his 2000 Sydney Games bronze medal for now despite being accused of cheating his way to the top in cycling, the International Olympic Committee saying it is still too early to take action.
  12. Talk is he might end up with metal bracelets in place of yellow rubber ones. Possible jail time for Lance? Disgraced American cyclist Lance Armstrong could face criminal charges of perjury after denying charges of drug use under oath in 2005. In terms of US law, perjury is classified as a felony and Armstrong, if found guilty, could face up to five years in jail. According to the Telegraph's website, the possibility of perjury charges relates to a civil arbitration in November 2005, which had been called to adjudicate between Armstrong and his company Tailwind Sports against SCA Promotions and Ted Lyonhamman Insurance Services. The latter were reluctant to pay out the $5m bonus due to Armstrong after he won his sixth consecutive Tour de France, as rumours spread as to his possible use of performance enhancing drugs. The insurance company and SCA wanted assurances that he was not doping before paying out. However, Armstrong wanted his money so, at his insistence, they went to court to resolve the matter.
  13. LoL another poll Vote http://cdn.24.co.za/files/Cms/General/d/1304/7ad4d9c2defe4711b18bf22a95dcae69.jpgLance Armstrong: Innocent or guilty as sin? 49%Innocent: Never failed a drug test 51%Guilty: So many opponents can't all be lying...
  14. Lance is out, finnish, klaar. Unable to partake in any sanctioned sport, triathlon, cycling, running, swimming..whatever which knowing how much he loves his sport must be pretty hard on him. He is not trying to appeal or overturn it and accepted it. Whether he confesses or not it's not going to change anything, so what more punishment can he get. Sponsors pull the plug on him, get sued for reimbursement of prize money, sponsorship money, Livestrong get shut down, his bike shop boycotted etc. Is there a point where punishment is enough.
  15. LoL, New224 poll Voting Booth Lance Armstrong's fateappears to be sealed. He should: Own up to doping 44 % 5266 Votes Continue to fight his for innocence 8 % 942 Votes Carry on with his life and charity work 48 % 5661 Votes Previous Results · Suggest a vote
  16. What do you think the current riders should say when asked a direct question of what they think of the LA saga. Deny, they hypocritical, admit that they know and blow their careers.
  17. Not really, Why did Frank only fess up to doping once his time was done, why did he even dope in the 1st place. When did Betsy know her husband was a doper, surely as he has claimed he doped for lengthy time she should have known and why then did she keep quiet.
  18. Go Lance LIVESTRONG Challenge Austin to Host Top Pro Riders http://blog.livestrong.org/wp-content/themes/livestrong/images/uploads/author_icon.gif Oct 09, 2012 by Chris Brewer 2 Comments One of the cool things about attending a LIVESTRONG Challenge is you never know who you might meet or what new friends you might make. So we’re very happy to tell you that at the Austin Challenge coming up on Sunday, Oct 21 you can ride with some of the best pro cyclists in the world from Team RadioShack Nissan Trek as we welcome: Markel Irizar (cancer survivor, winner 2011 Ruta del Sol) Tiago Machado (stage racing specialist) Ben King (2010 US Pro Champ) Matthew Busche (2011 US Pro Champ) and arguably THE most popular rider in cycling today, Jens “Shut up Legs” Voigt! In addition to these world class cyclists, some of the best up and coming riders from the very successful and aggressive Bontrager-LIVESTRONG team will also be saddling up: Axel Merckx (Team Director) Connor O’Leary (cancer survivor) Joe Dombrowski Lawson Craddock This is a great opportunity to ride side by side with this amazing riders, and word is that you’ll be able to meet and greet them, too – I suggest you pay close attention to the Mellow Johnny’s web site – emails (just sayin’). And how do you get to be out and about with the guys? It’s as simple as signing up for the ride, and at just $50 with no fundraising requirement, there’s no good reason not to join in on the fun! You can choose from distances of 18, 60, and 100 miles and then relax with a great after-ride party in the heart of downtown ATX! We look forward to welcome the boys to Austin, and hope you’ll be along for the ride as well.
  19. Still want to check what's in your water bottles
  20. This was discussed previously, and same as LA influenced many to take up the sport of cycling, so to him having a saddle bag has influenced many to do the same. We are after all sheep.
  21. I assume the the same applies to Dopodor Contador, he still denies he doped and continues to claim his TDF wins. Lance has accepted his life time ban which pretty much means he has taken his punishment. I also have not read any reports of him waving 7 fingers around either.
  22. Nice to see you not getting personal
  23. Even so, how would Pat be able to cover up or omit certain information. USADA will have the information as well and can easily prove if Pat is covering up, discrediting him and the organization. USADA have also been accused of having an agenda, so why be selective in what you do or do not hand over.
  24. How would he get that right ? Surely Fat Pat would be setting himself up if he manipulated the data. USADA could easily see through that.
