  1. Happened to me on 26/03. Corner Rustenburg rd and Victory Rd. Same modus operandi. It is a dark gray Toyota corolla. Slightly bashed up. (Extra dent on passenger door begind driver). They follow at a distance as if lost. Drop a guy off along the route, he then just runs up behind you graps the phone. Managed to ram him between the door and the car a couple of times while he was getting in, but he had thrown the cell into the car already. My guess was the pick pocket was no older than 17 and at school the next day.
  2. Received a pm with explanation My apologies David, although I have been on the hub for many years (longer than 5 minutes), I did not know who you are. My bad. Thank you for your efforts.
  3. Hi David, Maybe post a better photo of yourself. Beanie and covering your face, makes you very suspicious. Maybe post another
  4. Found near entrance to Lion and Rhino at around 10h15 this morning 13/04. PM me
  5. I must be missing something, to me it looks as if he is trying to avoid the touch of wheels nothing malicious. Once his front wheel has made contact he has very little control.

    Sani2c 2015

Enjoyed the trail, had a couple of places were it was slow or backed up but nothing serious. I was surprised/disappointed at the number of riders who did not bother clearing their tables. They left milk cartoons and energy bar wrappers everywhere. No consideration for the next guys wanting to use the tables. There were dustbins everywhere? Mind boggles.

    Sani2c 2015

Hi, What do they have for breakfast at the race villages please? This will be my third Sani, always just had a shake in the mornings, never actually ventured into the dining tent . Thanks
  10. . My sons technical skills failed him at that exact spot, 11 stitches later. He still went on to finish, but it put an end to the rest of the families day as we needed to trek back to take him to hospital. Thanks to the medic who strapped him up so that he could continue.
  11. Is this a mistake or is there a 112 km difference between the U16 and Junior men (U18)
  12. I think you may need a power balance bracelet .
  13. How was the crater on the new bike? Just been for my first ride, I suppose like anything new " it feels fantastic "! Will have to get used to the 2 x 10 and my wrists got sore, will check the set up. Did a bit of single track, great smooth ride, but after the craters "sinkplaat" on the hardtail yesterday anything will feel smooth. Overall first impression
  14. I'll do that, will be doing the crater on the hard tail. I will only get to ride her (the anthem) next week.
  15. After hours of checking specs, and weighing up all the options I FINALLY made a decision. Bought one yesterday, collected today . Cannot wait to go for a spin. Rain Rain rain .
  16. Thanks for thr replies, CAAD4 the fulcrum 29er wheelset I bought from you still going strong , taken sum serious punishment but those things seem bullet-proof. My one concern is pricing, and the other is that I am not such a huge Sram fan. My other option will be Giant, Scott and I suppose Spez.
  17. Hi, I am in the market for a dual suspension, I like the feel and look of this bike http://www.cube-bike...MS_29_RACE.html does anyone have one and what are your thoughts, I have not seen many, Cost around R 32000-00, Is this reasonable for what i am getting, Any thoughts and suggestions welcome!! Thanks
  18. Thanks for the advice, qoutes varied from R35 - 47 000-00, pretty hectic for insurance purposes.
  19. MCipollini , thanks but I am not selling the bike, so I fail to see the relevance in what you require. So whether its a 1982 model with 1000 km or a 2011 with 3000 km I still need to insure for replacement value, or am I smokin somthing. Thanks for the replies the 3 LBS sounds like the route to go,

  22. To the guys riding into the setting sun three abreast on the "very busy" Parys Potch road on Sunday hope you all made it home safely. The sun is at that nasty angle were your visor and sunglasses mean absolutely buggar all (at about 18H00), It is a battle to see oncoming traffic, wow guys if you read this cycle earlier and try single file it might just save your life. Safe Cycling
