Hope someone can help me, I took my bike apart to put in a bicycle bag a week ago and now I have put it back together and the steering sounds loose. There is a knocking noise, as if the fork is loose? I checked the bolts and screws and everything is tight. Is it just me, never noticed it before?

Good Morning, Im currenlty riding a Anthem X2 and I see my brakes arent gripping as tightly. I checked the pads and they still look fine. Is there a way to adjust them? Riding with Shimano deore XT Rapidfire levers and Shimano Deore XT 160mm brakes

Cut off is today for the lucky cyclist to pay. Therefore tomorrow they can do a recon and see who and who has not paid and start sending out congratulation emails to the waiting list. I say if you have not heard by the end of tomorrow then start look for another stage race....

Well I hope this doesnt mean we are 1664 in the queue Team Name: THE X FACTOR Team/Entry ID: Wait - R1664 Entry Type: Unassigned Entry Status: Waiting List Therefore if they enter 1400 team across the "Race and Adventure " and 50% past riders take their original spots that means 700 spots might be open to newbies. If I am at 1664 it means they will easily be able to open another race and have left overs (just a quick rough calc) SO PLEASE OPEN ANOTHER!!

Actually I cant even respond to this, because what I typed and saw was two different things. I could have described it in much simpler way, but I didnt. The fact of the matter is.If you commenting on me being Sterotypical I would first look at yourself before accusing... Not once did I mention race,or age.. It was all you buddy!!! I am a concerned citizen who knows whats going on around us, when I see something which doesnt make sense I will question it. Where better to ask about a stolen bike, but on the hub!! what I will do tomorrow morning is take a photo of him on it!! Post the pic and lets see what everyone thinks?

Good morning Guys and Girls, So every morning I travel on Witkoppen rd between Leslie drive and Cedar rd. At about 7:20am every morning I see a man riding a Giant hard tail which in my mind cancnot afford to ride this bike... Surely this bike must be stolen. It looks like a the Giant anthem x3 anthem. But its a hardtail What should I do, It irritates me every morning....

Student job!!! Use it dont use it.. Just a thought!!! If you love the sport you will find a way to afford it!

Also running monorail on the front and crossmarx at the back.. Awesome in dry weather. If its rained the night before and there is alot of mud the following day, the monorail will make your ride a little more interesting than you want

I have the exact reason for wanting to create a commuting bicycle. After being on the hub, I see a lot of guys mentioning a single speed and I am pretty keen to try it out. I have an old bike I used for Sabie experience which I retired after the race. I think its due for a rude awakening I literally live 4 km from work with one hill to negotiate and its not that difficult. so I think a single speed could be alot of fun... and once I feel comfortable, I can explore on the dirt. so how do I get started!!

I have an old diamond back which I could convert... Pretty much take the origianl gearing off and buy single speed components and transfer?

The article does really make a person think about there riding styles and what will suite them. Do you compete with the bike or is it more of a toy, I am really keen to try this concept out!!

Can I ask a silly question, Why would you have a single speed bike? What would you use it for? is the gear relatively an easier gear or a difficult gear? why not have gears to choose from?

Thank you for the help,all I will change is the rim and I will make it a ZTR Arch. Should I be worried about how much I weigh? Im sitting at the region 89 and 91kg, hopefully when I order and recieve them I will be at a constant 88 What was your import duty cost on them? I assume they will be lighter and stronger than my stock standard Mavric XM 317 disc rims
