  1. Was in our local VW dealer last weekend and there were some Lego sets of vintage VW Beatles and Combis. Also immediately thought of Tumbles then.
  2. Former work colleague had the same issue. Had a child when he and the mother of the child seperated. The mother got a chance to go to Brittain with the new love. My friend signed conscent that the daughter may go on condition she visits him once a year for a couple of weeks on their account. Worked out well for all of them at the end.
  3. Yip shoes I also have at work. They use up quite a bit of space.
  4. Yip do that as well. Well this week is just beyond cold at the moment. Not even thinking about cycling in -15. But by the weekend the temps will lift and although there is rain predicted for next week, there might be a chance of commuting. Looking forward to it.
  5. Also have a set of gloves in my "Toolbox"
  6. For motorists in road rage incidents. When someone wants to confront you, you just pull out the roap and the gloves and while snapping on those gloves you put on this psycopatic laugh. Normally the debate ends there.
  7. I am pretty sure the mother is feeding him some alternative facts.
  8. I propably mentioned it in the beginning of this thread. Have spare underwear, socks and belt at the office.
  9. RIP. Very sad news.
  10. Getting close I can almost smell it ....
  11. Italian ... German would have had a saddle bag the size of small trailer on the Pino.
  12. Just don't tell you wife you learnt it on the hub.
  13. Even up in the highveld, the last couple of years the thunder storms were way more intense.
  14. Well if memory serve me right, she was the one that decided to leave. It was not your choice. That would be the starting point of my argument.
  15. It still remains one of the best security measures. Was a huge advantage when we moved to Germany as the dogs were already used to be in the house all night.
  16. First go roll in the snow ... Followed by a lazy nap ...
  17. Reminds me of my friend when he moved to the Netherlands a few years ago. On his way from work back home he passed a scene where a duck got stuck in a dam/pond in the ice. The ice was too thin to walk on and people were throwing rocks and stuff to try break the ice so the duck could escape. My friend being the good man he is decided to hop in and try and do his bit, so he picked a rock and with the first throw hit the duck on the head .... dead. "Oh well!" he says, "At least the poor bugger is put out of his misery". Folks weren't too happy with him.
  18. +1. I often wondered how the heck one volunteers for something like this. Their wifes had to be real naggers.
  19. That was you wife smacking you for not taking her to the station by car.
  20. I know the feeling. Every year in spring when I start my commutes, I go from almost no exercise to burning 2500 kcal per day extra. By the second day my desk starts looking rather appetizing.
  21. Fixed ...
  22. Wonder if his mother knows he is posting on the bikehub ...
  23. I loved this comment if you look on the clip on Youtube .. This was the moment when the Germans realized they wanted to put the wall back up, but it was too late...ANTWORTEN244
