    It does get repetitive... But I had a good laugh for the first season... There's a village here in Ireland called the horse and jockey and there's a big sign for it on the main road to Dublin.. always makes me laugh when I go past it

    I reported that Indian chap to them in 2017 who very clearly cheated and they did absolutely nothing about it

    Races are expensive.. No doubt .. I paid €80 for Dublin, €75 for Amsterdam and $250 for Dublin! 4 and 5 mile races are around €15 and and happy marathons around €20

    Yup..I wouldn't dream of it here in Ireland. We pretty much run on the small country roads and you can drive anything from 80 to 100 on those. There was a chap killed not to long ago because he was running with earphones and didn't hear a car coming up behind him.

    I'm totally captivated by this podcast. He's done a real good job with it. The real sad thing is that there are similar examples of the teacher being referenced throughout schools in South Africa

    Crikey To be honest.. The best beer I've ever had is just before the last mile of comrades 2017 up run... And I saw someone drinking a beer so I asked for a sip.. He gave it to me and said I could have it... Mother's milk!

    A day rest per mile is the old wives tale. I had a really hard last 3 miles and took a solid 2 weeks off. Did a speed session then on tuesday and fartleks on Thursday.. Then 13 miles on Sunday. Felt like I had just run a marathon after that. My legs are still sore. I started too early. Should have taken another week off. Enjoy the rest you deserved it

    A lot of cms have a publish button. You can edit away and save as you go along.. But if you accidentally hit publish.. It's live.. Very easy to do... You okes are a bit harsh!... They've apologized.. And by the looks of things if they go with charities... It's only a few entries for the ultra.. The rest will be sold as per normal.

    I think we have a massive problem with steroids at schoolboy rugby level. I would hope that those who make it through to national level aren't!

    So because no one else was as tactical it's no a problem. As mentioned.. It was a huge gamble and because he stuck with his strategy thought the tournament... It worked. Even if he didn't sub any forward in the final... They would still have had fresher legs than the poms. Second point... Reduce the substitutions will see an increase in uncontested scrums.. Now there's one way to make a game boring!

    Running had been growing year on year and is peaking. Event organisers are now trying to make a quick back on the back of the demand. €15 non refundable lottery fee. Comrades with their new admin fee and R200 substitution admin fee over and above the entry fee. Events with no substitutions...... People will start looking for alternative options
