  1. Eldorainge ext 9. It was stolen out of my garage, no idea how they got in but this morning it was gone... The garage has an electric door in front and a locked steel gate at the back.
  2. So this morning when I woke up I found out I have one bike less than yesterday. Attached is a picture, it now has racekings on with new shimano xt wheels. If you see it please inform me. Centurion area Thanks
  3. It is climbing of the rim, the glue that used to hold it in place is not working so good when spinning in circles

  5. Really enjoying the new camera, but it is a huge learning curve This is the flower of a little "suurplantjie"
  6. I see some serious photographers on thehub, I hope to one day be as good as you guys. This is the first photo with my new camera I got yesterday (photo expo got the best of me), huge learning curve ahead.
  7. Interesting how you state the law, but in your previous post you state that cyclists should stay off the traffic lane? The law clearly states that a cyclist should stay in the traffic lane except when there is a portion set aside, and no it does not mean the shoulder on the other side of the yellow line. This is more a case of cyclists doing their part by riding in the yellow lane when opportunity presents itself rather than doing so by law. Can you please post the law that states how you should pass other road users, for example the space you should leave when passing, on which side you should pass, how you should indicate and so on?
  8. Sometimes it's real
  9. You guys take amazing photos. I am in the process of buying a camera and will be joining this thread soon. Here is a few pics I took with a Nikon Coolpix L100 (mik and druk). These photos are responsible for my sudden interest in photography, I was swearing at the camera for not doing what I wanted (Although I think it was a lack of knowledge from my side ).
  10. Thanks, I really enjoyed the event a lot. Did not have the problem with those NW guys passing me, but get what you all mean. Next year I'll try and sleep a few hours in between, by 10h Sunday morning my body went into zombie mode
  11. Anybody know where we can get the results?
  12. I was in the front of the AL group till the last turn when they went for the sprint I sat up. Worked my @ss of for a good time as I don't go for the sprint to win the group. This morning the results were correct, showing the winner of the group as 2:31:40. Just checked again and there are 10 new names from 2:27:34. How on earth is this possible? Who can one contact with regards to this error it needs to be fixed? What's right is right. I know it makes no difference to me whatsoever, but it is not a true reflection of the race. To add the guy that supposedly won the group now seems to ave raced in two groups at the same time, well done. 16. I went to the bike shop ad they confirmed it is correct. Here is a pic. sorry the BB phones seem to have the worst cameras ever
  17. There are no circlips in the shell, so my question is how deep do I press these into the shell, until they are flush? At the moment they are about 3mm from flush.
  18. Thanks for the replies. AndreZA this one does not have the lips, it is a specialized one for Specialized Maybe I will take it to the LBS to have a look....
  19. Hi all, A friend bought a 2009 Specialized Stumpjumper S-Works, and asked me to do the build for him. I am a bit confused/uninformed of how to install the specific press fit BB that came with this frame. It is the BB 91-42. I have seen a lot of videos on the press fit BB installation but none of them are the same as this BB. Most of the have the little lip that presses against the BB shell when fully pressed in or the frame takes a clip that stops the bearing when fully pressed in, this one has nothing like this? Any help?
  20. This is Swartberg from the caves to the top. Avge gradient is 6.2% but the last 5km's averages at 10.7%.
  21. On the other side of Klapperkop. Thus not turning right at the Groenkloof circle to the R21 but going straight on over the circle until it crosses with Queen Wilhelmina. Turn right to go up.
  22. Queen Wilhelmina drive is quite steep, maybe not long enough but sure good for building strength.
  23. It would've been real simple for the seller to inform the potential buyer that there is someone else interested and based on that first come first serve. If a seller and buyer enters negotiation it shows interest from both parties and they should keep each other informed. BUT I agree that a public attack on the seller is uncalled for, maybe it would have been better to sort the issue out privately?
  24. You will need to tighten or loosen the screw (circled) for the spring tension. Either tighten the one on the right if possible or loosen the one on the left. This will shift your brakes right. If you plan on tightening the right screw, first unclip the spring, I've seen many guys damage the screw head by trying to tighten with the spring clipped in. If you want to keep the 4mm gap you will probably have to loosen your cable a bit too. Hope this helps.
