  1. Should be advertised as a "code 4" thenπŸ™ƒ
  2. Are you referring to this? So the bike is a write off?
  3. Broken or repaired?
  4. Jip. The blaket even smelled like Staysoft...πŸ™ƒ Beneath the mud was a almost brand new Giant XTC (SL carbon lay up). Fitted with a Lefty front and full Sram XO groupset. Stans Crest wheels. He built the bike up (all new parts frame Lefty etc.) did one race and then realized he need money for his wedding.
  5. A few years back a guy posted a photo here on Bikehub (when we could still comment on the classifieds) of a VERY dirty / muddy mtb for sale. Everyone commented on the dirty bike and laziness of the seller to not just wash it and take better photos. I saw some potential and send n direct message to the seller. Ask him to wash the bike and send se better pictures. Turn out to be a huge bargain and very good connection. I bought the bike and still have it today. He even shipped the bike covered in a nice blanket... which my dogs inherited. πŸ˜† Moral of the story: sometimes huge bargains can be bought from lazy sellers...πŸ˜‚
  6. Thanks. Omnico does not haveπŸ˜”
  7. Very late to this partyπŸ˜‚. Long shot..but any chance you have one left.πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
  8. How do one set the "" peleton mode"" ?
  9. What is the price of the previous generation model but with carbon wheels and electronic shifting? I think the newest generation starts on R70k for Sram Rival (New spec ~ one finger braking) UDH; Carbon wheels with DT Swiss hubs) and plenty of tyre clearance "Racing focused" tells me those stock alloy wheels will not be good enough after the placebo effect faded πŸ™ƒ
  10. Don't think a rating can be removed or edited like in the past (by users)?πŸ€”
  11. If you can, maybe try a different wheel set with your own cassette and rotor fitted.
  12. As it looks now, it might just be better to change the pulley wheels... to be able to fit belts available... πŸ€”
  13. Unfortunately they also replied that they are unable to supply such belt πŸ˜”
  14. They replied yesterday in an email they cannot supply this belt😐
  15. Kicr Climb belt replacement Anybody knows where I can get a replacement belt Locally for my Kickr Climb. With the help of YouTube I managed to disassemble it. Not that complicated First want to try source one locally as importing one will be quite expensive I have tried a few automotive spares shops (Midas etc.) with no luck. The pitch of timing belts differs from this belt I have tried Bearing man - with no luck. My local bike shop tried to source one from wahoo distributor but with no luck. I have tried a few local online shops but appears to be an odd size / pitch. Some people re-use the broken belt with the broken section between the two clamps where the bracket for front axle mounts onto the belt (the belt does not rotate in full) but not ideal. Details of the belt : optibelt Omega 152 8M 04 04 04 (14mm) Any help will be highly appreciated!
  16. If you take an old outer gear cable and cut (with sharp carpet knife) away the black plastic insulation , underneath are some very thin (and sharp) hard wires. The remaining plastic tube is actually very handy ( for routing a new cable or even replacing the existing inner cable routing inside frame) Edit spelling
  17. Don't you use a vitual credit card?
  18. Have reported a few in the past just to be ignored. The ads just stayed on. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  19. Sometimes their ads contain pictures of the actual legit product, but what you receive when ordering is complete different and a fake/ counterfeit product. On Aliexpress there is some kind of buyers protection and after a lengthy dispute process you might get your money back. Money pay for Shipping/ custom duties etc. you never see again.
  20. Fork steerer tube cut or uncut? If cut this also has a huge impact on resale value. ( in my opinion)
  21. And they using consumables like tape ; buble wrap etc
  22. He would have successfully dropped the amateur πŸ™ƒ
