  1. I place my bet on a 38 tooth. Maybe 40 with a zero off set ring but the chain line will be a mess. 😜
  2. NiceπŸ‘Œ Next step : please fit a 50/34 compact crank and Front derailleur πŸ™ƒ. It's Friday. So no 1x excuses nΓͺ ..
  3. I was amazed by how good these Vredenstein tyres roll. With this I realised the rubber compound of a tire by far outweighs the thread pattern of a tyre. These roll definitely faster (gravel and tar) as the my Gravelking 43mm. Day and night difference ... Would like to give the Victoria a go in future πŸ‘
  4. The flip chip at rear makes it possible.
  5. Think the model just after yours. Mine can take a round seatpost (30.9) and I think the previous model can only take the D shape. The big difference between mine and the older model is the tyre clearance ( 53mm according to Giant. As per photo these measures out about 53mm. The wheels are mtb wheels from my Scalpel _ thus wide internal width. I believe the newest model ( one after mine) only has internal cable routing and a internal storage but same geometry and tyre clearance. Both options I'm glad I don't have...
  6. Picture of my Revolt fitted with 29 x2.2 tyres. Rides like a tank with these tires πŸ‘Œ πŸ€ͺ
  7. Recent research shows that 9 out of 10 cyclist who bought a gravel bike that cannot fit 700 x 50mm tyres, don't want to use it off-road anymore after the first 3 off road ("sinkplaat road") rides...πŸ™ƒ
  8. If you a big shoe size and need wide shoes also consider wider pedals ( specially road) With some wide shoes if you place the cleat in the middle of the sole your shoe will rubb against the crank. Shimano +4mm axle for the win. Stay clear from Look. Even their "longer" axle options...
  9. this head tube always the easiest
  10. put at least drop bars on please πŸ™ƒ
  11. As a member for 13 hours, its my duty to welcome you. Welcome Tim πŸ™‚
  12. looks like only in two sizes but no geometry chart on their website πŸ€”
  13. Can also be that only the wheel was incorrectly fitted? Just take the rear wheel off and put it back and make sure the chain is in the right place
  14. In short : just use Bikehub pay if in doubt. Not sure why a payment from a foreigner was accepted if you were in doubt from the start? Happy Friday allπŸ™ƒ
  15. I have n project 321 steerer adapter (currently not in use) as I fitted n rigid fork. Unfortunately not for sale as a chop and change between the lefty and the rigid fork frequently. I think the most important part for that shim is to make sure it has a slit so that the clamp on the lefty can clamp it securely. There's quite an amount of force there and you don't want a loose handle bar or headset...you welcome to contact me if you require pictures. Cheers and keep us updated
  16. Here some (bad quality 😬) pic's "Currently a vintage Caad. ,Pumped it ( powder coat) and put an old Dura Ace 7800 groupset on. Cracked Carbon bar. No wheels / no brake calipers. Kickr rear. Kickr climb front."
  17. Back in the day I have used the Plastic Coke bottle hack (or botch) mine had an extra layer protection as it was placed inside a piece of drainpipe. Thick overhaul / gloves / full face motorcycle helmet and a long valve pipe to always pump it up behind a corner. This threat makes me want to try the fire extinguisher hack πŸ€”
  18. Currently a vintage Caad. ,Pumped it ( powder coat) and put an old Dura Ace 7800 groupset on. Cracked Carbon bar. No wheels / no brake calipers. Kickr rear. Kickr climb front.
  19. The "poping" of the tyre is not that disturbing if they are already awake from the compressor noise
  20. Done this since the beginning of time. When Rouvy was still called Virtual trainer and races was like chasing dots on Google maps. Zwift was in Beta and freeπŸ˜†
  21. See the product is from 2018? Can one still buy it? If so, what is the retail price and who has stock?
