    sold my entry - sad to miss it. in future will go again, when things look a bit better in WC Training now based on Maluti Double 90 in Clarens coming April

    By travelling more than 2000km (to event and back home again) also some kind of a concern for me. Sad but true. Last year I was one on the riders being stopped on the Blue route after 20km. Stopped due to the protest actions wind.

    wheel set one : VAT (14%) only wheel set two : VAT (14%) and Customs duties (15%) Second payment at post office on collection was more than double than the first one ja The 15% was levied incorrectly. 15% is on complete bicycles. Parts components = 0% Anybody knows if this incorrect amount can be refunded to me?

    Was charged 15% "Custom Dues" on a set of imported carbon wheels on top of VAT Ordered two sets on the same day. first one had no custom duties / second one 15%??? same supplier / same wheels / same value SAPO via EMS. Can anybody with more customs experience maybe confirm if this is correct, and the reason why not treated consequently . I now paid (at Post Office) more that double on the second set than the first set, although both sets are identical?

    also a very nice race Not as tough is DC (only a little bit) but should not be under estimated. Golden Gate has beautiful scenery and a " The Mine shaft" climb...

    Got dropped by my team (last six went) at 188km and caught the slip of Pure Savage team on top of second last climb. Happy with my time of 5h20 ( only two min slower as our top six at 5h18...haha. Was tough but lekker!!
