From A to D to F! Hope you have a very fast TT bike!

I think the main issue would be weight as well as some sort of clutch system. With the derailleur system we essentially have a clutch system but without the weight. Would be interesting to see where this goes. Also how you would be able to remove the rear wheel to sort out a puncture quickly.

Although that is still a fair distance to the finish. The finishing straight is quite long. You could try a few attacks like at the corner to test his legs depending how you feeling. Or you can get some Hub allies to help you and force him to chase them down.

Just approach it like you did the Engen race (if you did the long distance which from the time you gave it sounds like you did). Try not to go too hard on the first hill. Rather find a bunch that you are comfortable with and not pushing in the red too much. As for drafting, you can draft if there is a big group. If you in a smaller group then you will have to work.

Just my type of conditions!!! Reminds me of the Etape last year. Descent of Tourmalet was EXTREMELY interest in the wet with mist that you couldn't see 10m in front of you! You do learn to descent in the wet very quickly. Haha

I also don't have time for people like that. But no matter what you do they won't change so you will be better off using that energy to ride away from them. Just shout at them (nicely) to not speak like that and then ignore them and ride away.
