No worries flymango, with so much going on around us, i must have left before u.Put the hammer down going back. That wind going back was great. Was hitting a constant 50km/h until i turned off westcoast rd back into wind to flamingo vlei then it hurt me.

Strange how only the " jap" closest to #26 actually fits his bike. The rest of their frames are too big for them.

Photoshop. The person would have been visible but almost in a ghostly image as the bulb is open on camera settings and the bright light is taking preference(similar to when u see blurred tail lights in a photo of cars on a highway at night). The photographer would then either use lasoo(marching ants) or magic wand to cut the person out then layer it for the flare to take preference(content aware) or layer it into the background image. Hope this helps. Thats why i spend so many thousands on edit equipment, the possibilities are almost endless. if u look at the top left of the cab u will see a slight mistake from the cutiing out of the person. The smoke stops, has a straight line then carries on. as there was not enough smoke, the content aware was not 100% sure where to cut him out thats why there is a sudden line break in the smoke, could have feathered it slightly so it was not so harsh but im being too critical. Its a really good image with alot of work going in to it. Thats atleast 4 hours work just on that 1 image

i will go with time lapse layers? Although the background seems very quiet. Only heard of flight sim so not familier with its graphics and seeing the way the one plane is banking from take off, sure now it is simulated

Was at the 1km to go kite before they made the hard left. Thunder storm was seriously weird. we only had the down pour for about 30sec. on way back to hotel through my broken French and the guys walking next to us in their broken English said it was pouring by you only 1km away.

This years TDF gummi. Hopefully will be there again next year. next time u there go eat at a pub called Tex Mex. Great food and the barman/owner is a funny French dude. last day we were there he gave us free meals. Will try to make a turn in Metz again for next years TDF.
