  1. Great to see how Team Pure Savage have progressed over the last year. Great commitment = Great success
  2. Could not stop myself from taking this shot last month at Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
  3. Tx Naas for input. I know you buy it for X and sell Y but its a little bit more than I expected to pay hence seeing if there was a cheaper option elsewhere. If you are the cheapest I will def come buy.
  4. Ja unfortunately kicking my ass too
  5. my sister wants to do the 66km. What will it cost for a non PPA-member?
  6. Anybody know of any dealers selling Rotor chain rings on line? Got a price from a place in Durbanville but at R1800 for a 50T chain ring there surely must be other stores who sell it at a better price or is there a alternate chain ring that will fit?
  7. By now you know or have heard of Maroesjka Matthee also known as Fire https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum/user/1902-fire/ on the HUB. She is one of the most talented female track cyclists we have in South Africa. A while ago I chatted to Maroesjka at a event I was shooting and during the conversation she told me how beneficial her last visit overseas was and how desperate she is to get back to race against the best in the World and it was sad for me to see how one of our top track cyclists talent is going to waste. If you can remember correctly, Intellibus was her main sponsor and Owen was always able to help out but those days have sailed as the contract came to a end after many many thankful years. Maroesjka has sat down and done her sums and she simply cannot do it by herself. No matter how much she is able to scratch together she needs more help. In order for her to qualify for World Champs she has to take part in a minimum of 3 World cups. Maroesjka needs R30k per trip and that is still doable using her connections to slog it by staying in a friends room and not hotels etc. I know there are some good hearts and wealthy souls on the HUB so I am really hoping you are able to help Maroesjka live this dream. here are the dates for the World Cups: World Cup dates and Countries: Guadalajara, Mexico 07 November 2014 London, England 05 December 2014 Cali, Columbia 16 January 2014 Paris, France 18 February 2015 You can also take a look at her blog on her website: http://www.maroesjka.co.za/BlogOct2014.html If anyone is able to assist please get hold of Maroesjka through her contact details on her website or send a message on her HUB account.
  8. One of the best Grand Tours I have covered to date. Alberto was just on another level. Pitty Quintana was not able to show his cards, would have been interesting to see what hand he had for this race
  9. Avg speed for stage so far is 40.1km/h. Some really strong winds here at the finish
  10. Last I promise. The shots my clients don't take or after the cooling off period goes on to my facebook page www.facebook.com/capchaphotography
  11. I must say im rather disappointed by the support for our local MTN boys. Been here a week and yet to see a local fan. TDF didnt have one SA rider but you constantly see a SA flag that has effall to do with the race. So ja its just a little sad. Yes its not the hight of holiday season but must be a downer when the boys see all dif nationality flags being flown except for their own. Rant done!
  12. He should have gone overseas when he had the chance
  13. Jonkers is a amazing place to ride even for the not so fit. The best is to get a map at the entrance to see all trails. The trail at the bottom which does a loop back to the start is best for both of you and totals around 12km if i remember correctly but dont think its easy, its a false flat and easily drains the energy. There are many other routes to contours and single track available but be ready for a work out to get there. The result however is breath taking views! Entry is R25 pp if you didnt know that already
  14. I use Gemkem which works hundreds...true story
  15. Accreditation done and dusted & particularly looking forward to this Grand Tour and spending some time with the MTN boys. Busy over the next week on Google Earth going over the stages. Will post a few images over the course of the Tour on my Facebook page and will send Matt a few for the Hub.
