I have/had a Trojan Solitude Treadmill, yes perhaps not the best but does the job. I have had it for the past 4 years but two weeks ago I broke the running board, so its decision time. Repair or Replace. I run on a daily basis 5-15KM and now with it getting darker I will be spending more time on the treadmill. A new running board is R1200, the call out fee is R450.00. I have been told to look at something a little more powerfull, perhaps a 3hp motor. Anybody "been there done that" and have some wisdom to share?

I have the 2008 Trance X 2 and love the bike. I am also busy looking at upgrading, I am considering the following: The bike came standard with LX components (Brakes, Cranks, Gears etc...), it came with Mavic rims and Race Face bars and seat post. I am considering going XT through out (Cranks, brakes, gears, rims etc..) I am looking at Easton bars an upgrading my Fox shock to include lockout.

Perhaps something that has not been mentioned is the fact that our LBS has to pay rent, water/lights, rates, staff etc, essentialy they have to cover thier over heads, so how can we realistically expect them to compete with CRC. Dont get me wrong I am a huge fan of CRC, placed three orders and was very happy, but I make sure I also support my LBS for services, builds, kit, etc... My two cents worth.....

Agreed, I would rather sell to a fellow hubber, but if its not cycling related it should be OT.

Is it just me or is the classifieds starting to resemble gumtree, vottle or junkmail. People are trying to sell playstations, cars, life jackets etc..... XP, damn what a waste. From what I have seen of Vista you would need about 50GB of RAM to get it working, and then only just That beast deserves a decent Operating System, not that M$ rubbish. It would make a fine Linux server with Xen installed running multiple virtual servers. Its stable, secure and free, the possibilities are endless........

Any more of those up for grabs?

Have you tried CRC? The Chris king Hubs are brilliant but far too expensive from my LBS, I have had to settle for either Hope II, Shimano Saint or Nuke Proof. Good Luck
