So I am looking at getting a 29er, the Momsen Dual Link 6 looks like really good value for money. Has anyone bought or tested one of these? Any pro's or con's? I have heard that local support and backup is very good!

We had an awesome ride there last week friday, pure single track heaven. There is a nice little pipe crossing and a short rock garden too.

Suppose its wait and see, no updates or official news on the Morewood website yet. Andre from RushSport is a Hubber (Morewoodkid), maybe he has the lowdown for us.

I came across this site with some pics and specs of the new bikes for 2012. http://www.alotrolado-mtb.com/videos/novedades-morewood-2012/ Pic's include: The new Jabula, the final production version of the Sukuma, The new Yebo, Makulu, Kalula and Izimu. Looks like no changes to the Zula or news of a Kwela dual sus 29er All unofficial, so these may change when the new models are finally released.

I also had the Trance 2 and upgraded last year to a Morewood Zula. I did the Adventure this year and loved every minute of it, the bike was awesome handled like a dream. Personally I have not intention of going the 29er route. My wife sold her Trance X3 a few months back and has also upgraded to a Zula. We are both doing SANI next year. Admittedly I am a huge Morewood fan, currently on my third bike, having said that, I would suggest that you try and test the bikes you are interested in, make a short list and then decide. So I have been looking for a BMX for my son for a while now, I have been scouring Gumtree and Junkmail for ages without sucess. I was seriously considering the Raleigh Burner at Makro, currently on special. Anyway long story short, I walked past cash crusaders this afternoon and found a GT 24" Power Series BMX looking for a new home. They were not prepared to drop the price, so I took it for R699.00. (Makro Raleigh 20" R499.00 on special) It needs some work but its in all round good nick with most of the original parts. After a bit of research I understand it's a 06 model. I went with my heart on this one. Anyone know anything more about this model?

Another update from the website: We will sort out all the payments of the Accepted list by the end of this week. Good News to all those on the Query List ! You will most probably get in! We hope to make contact before the end of the week. Waiting List entrants will only be contacted from next week but the chances that there will be space on the Race and Adventure is slim. The decision about the third event is still in discussion and pending.

I am still hoping, but may also have to concede and find something else. I did however notice that I have dropped from 1623 on the query list to 106! I assume they are still cleaning up the database at this stage.

So all of those on the accepted list should have paid by yesterday, and those on the wait list should start getting notifications if any places are available. Has anyone got a entry yet or have any news on a possible third event? Eish I live in hope

Yip, got the same, however once i finalized my cart with the clothing sizes etc i get the following: Entry Type: Unassigned Entry Status: Query So it looks like I am still on the wait/query list.
