  1. Yip this Friday the 28th of November.
  2. Good to hear! We need more though, bring friends, lots of friends!
  3. Yeah, will do, someone should bring a camera along. Not much of a show of hands going on around here?
  4. So, the time to take back the streets has come around again.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> So last time we had about 12 fixies a bunch of people on mtb's, a couple of 29'ers, a couple of BMX'ers and almost no roadies? What's the deal people? Are you roadies really that fickle? Send it on to everyone! So I forgot the date thing: It's this Friday the 28th of November. Critical Mass, for it to work we need the Mass to be Critical! Same as usual: 06:45 at Baxter 07:15 at CTICC Be there, dress casual (we?ll have a Santa), don?t be a ponce, take back the streets! If you can ride a fixie, bring it, if it doesn?t have brakes, try not to fall. Everyone good for another morning of domination?! Good to hear! See you there. TitusTi2008-11-26 04:20:07
  5. There' date=' fixed it for you [/quote'] Wow, you girls b!tch alot!
  6. Well, except for the easting part (spelling mistake). Can't see why it wouldn't work, same thing really, just less interaction from a backup crew.
  7. Ride alot, ride hard, learn to suffer. Ride at night. Practise easting while you're riding. Get comfy shorts.
  8. So, you're not allowed to change your mind anymore? Good luck enforcing that one.
  9. Only issue is the rear braking service, totally unnecesary. Ruins the aesthetics seeing as you don't have a brake at the back.
  10. Screw that! The fixie courier riders ride agressively because that's the only way you stay alive working as a courier.
  11. Ridden the Fulcrum Racing Speeds and the Zipp 404's in anger, overall I prefered the Fulcrum's, tiny bit heavier but they just ride so nicely! Although I had issues with the braking on the Fulcrum's but that was because of using Zipp's brake blocks, they only work well on Zipp's it appears.
  12. I almost took the saddle bag, in the end just made off with the grips and saddle, do still want to sort out 1 of the courier bags, they're awesome!
  13. Tubbies are not ideal if you're doing track locks. You wear 'em out a little quickly. UNIruanCYCLE - Which Circus are you with?
  14. Yeah, HR, it's the Bowery. got it out of the box and been changing stuff ever since.
  15. Seen 'em, the first 1 is a bit pants, the others are a little better. Do yourself a favour and watch MASH, it's pretty cool.
  16. They're an amazing work of art, whole bunch of seperate rings of leather with spokes keeping them in place and these great big end bits, also come with leather caps that slot into the end of the grip, amazing!
  17. cork? Nope, leather! Also by Brooks, I almost started crying when I got them they were so beautiful.
  18. Alas for Cannondale haven't gotten the angles right.
  19. Hmm, lots of talk from guys who don't own or ride a 29'er much?
  20. That's what I meant! There are no trail builders hence there is no one to dumb it down and I personally hope it never gets easier, maybe harder, harder would be nice. Also you should try Pat's twin. Instead of taking the left turn right at the top just carry on straight, nice angular rocky riding, never seen any walkers there, ever!
  21. You should have a closer look at the grips as well!
  22. And she's so pretty now!
  23. Pat's is illegal and has been for many, many years, so I don't think the trail builders are the one's dumbing it down.
  24. Doable on a SS, dude most of the guys (about 10 when I counted including 2 girls) were on fixie's, now man up!
  25. Yeah, he was cool to have along for the ride, a little bit of early morning mayhem was just what the doctor ordered.
