  1. Been using them for a while, great race tyre. I actually use the non tubeless version and just convert them, no worries so far.
  2. There's 2 in Bree Street, 153 Bree is Bowmans, there's another one just up the road from there. Then further downtown there is another called Action Cycles (not sure of address).
  3. go to www.explosm.net
  4. It is for a girl mate, for her Cyclocross bike. She's currently riding off road with a 53-39 and a 12-25 on the back and wondering why it's a little harder than her mtb.
  5. Does anyone want to swap a cheap FSA Normal crankset for a compact?
  6. I might better that! So far I have 5 confirmations! 1 because he lives around the corner from me and has no choice! TitusTi2008-08-28 09:05:48
  7. Right then, all 8 of us are gonna be there and leaving at 06:45, see you there, if you're late, you'd better catch up becasue we're leaving at 06:45. Later. Vive le Revolution.
  8. Point taken, it's a reason to do something. So we'll start small then.
  9. Why do you lot think I'm trying to get something going or start a revolution or bring Cape Town to it's knees? I don't really care if people rock up or not. Sean, watch your tone boy!
  10. A quick note about tomorrow morning, if it's just cold we're riding, if however it's bucketing like it was this morning at 6:30, I ain't getting outta bed kids! Got better things to be doing at that time of the morning! TitusTi2008-08-28 07:59:06
  11. Once had to try and fix a Ti bike that didn't have a hanger. It took forever, good news is the frame can now take a 140mm rear wheel!
  12. And 2nd place last time? Keep it up.
  13. Does anyone have pic's of that polar bear?
  14. I've seen him do it! More entertaining than a polar bear.
  15. Ridden triggers, grips and dual controls of all varities. At this point am very happy with the Sram X.9 triggers. Am not chaning to anything else for a while. Thanks for the tip on the gloves there Captain Obvious.
  16. They're nice but I find they rip my hands on really long rides (over 8 hours).
  17. What did he win it on last time? Do we need to say more?
  18. You can ride whatever you like, I don't care what bike you ride. Pretty sure no one else does as well. Do a brief loop through the waterfront green point area. and back to Long street from where we can all go our seperate ways (to work for me).
  19. Okay, leave from Baxter at 06:45 Friday morning, ride to town to hook up with the 2nd guard at the bottom of Long Street as 07:15. If you're in, you're in, if you're not, well then you suck. Later.
  20. Not really a training ride, more of a commuting ride. Don't want too many people in tights on the ride.
  21. Look, lets clear this up! There aren't going to be enough people to need permits, this is Cape Town, I doubt we'll have 30 people riding. A few of us decided on Saturday that it needed to happen. Will put up a time and location later, still deciding.
  22. And you think there're gonna be enough people for that? I'll take that as a compliment!
  23. Just because it's better than the rest of the country doesn't make it acceptable! No goal, just think it needs to happen.
  24. http://www.thedailyfix.co.za/2008/08/15/critical-mass/ Trying to get something going in Cape Town? Who's in, a few of us are gonna be doing, we need backup of the 2 wheeled variety.
