  1. And then? What you on about young man?
  2. It was a joke in reference to the fact that we were told Bloem is flat. Hey Jellytot, you didn't even come say hi, what's up with that?
  3. The link was posted on the Bloem thread, around page 34 I think? And I'm not on even though I finished! Anyway, busy clearing that up now.
  4. Really, MD? That would indeed be interesting, apparently it's flat with no wind either.
  5. Why do the girls look so shy?
  6. Hey Big H, the MTN boys had George islolate with 7 of their riders, he attacked them until he got away from all of them with Lange on his wheel, Lange then sat on his wheel with the whole of the Microsoft team chasing him, and he still opened up on them, hats off to Lange for holding on for the sprint but the truth of the race is George rode the last 5 laps doing all the work with Lange just holding on and then coming round for the sprint at the finish.
  7. Yeah, well what you don't see is my calves cramping and the fact that I haven't been training since the Giro!
  8. Hey, to all the hubbers on the side shouting was awesome, I spent alotta time in the wind suffering so hope you all enjoyed the show!

Yip, sunblock this is indeed true. I think there are normally on average about 15 riders finishing in the Elite cat, I think the attrition rate is minimum 70%.

I'm not doing the TT, will be there for the fun on Sunday though.

Would you like to borrow some body fat Ti? I've got enough of my own at the moment!

I think it's more death prevention?
  13. My current choices are: DT 240S hubs, serviced my hubs the other day and they were still good! Spokes Sapim CX-Ray, in lieu of these take the Super Comps, rims Stans ZTR 355's not Olympics, I wanted a slightly stiffer rim. And brakes are old XT levers with XTR calipers, and only use the metal sintered pads not the others, they are crap!

Right, so it'll be OB's in the bottles then!

Hey, anyone got a weather forecast for Sunday? Something official?
  16. No but apparently right handed riders with a bad sense of balance do? Weird?
  17. No cycling is not different, you are genetically pre-disposed to be a good type of rider, as with runners. 100m sprinters generally don't do well in marathons but they are both runners.
  18. Hmm, I have a shortage of breasts!
  19. No, never ridden in Bloem, I just know how racing works. Been doing it for far to long, the basic theory is: If you're suffering, everyone else is as well, so what you do is inflict more pain on yourself then the rest will *** harder. Steep spike hills are notoriously good for doing just this as most people tend to give up when a small gap opens.
  20. Yeah, same thinking applied there, after a sharp turn into a climb. The crest of a climb is where the hardest attacks come from and I can guarantee that there won't be much walking pace riding!
  21. Yeah look, they had an uphill feeding section on the giro, road stage 2, it was carnage every bloody lap, between trying to grab a bottle and contain attacks, not the best spot!
  22. Hey, it once took me 05:30 to ride the Argus, then the next year with some hard work in the pub I managed to sneak in a 06:30!
  23. Oh come on, that's speed! You can get it all over the place in CT as a recreational drug, if you wanna be legal you can go and buy pseudo-ephedrine at a normal pharmacy in the form of SudaFed and most other synus medication!
  24. I can't read, what is it that you bought?
  25. It makes the bike feel more like it's your's, well that's how I feel. Got the Giant TCR ISP. No real ride difference.
